    • Used for white nav light on dinghy
I bought the 24" white Lumitec anchor light for use as a white, stern nav light for my dinghy (13' Avon RIB). The light looks good and is very convenient to use. Just rotate it vertical and give a little tug on it to lock it in position. The LED is very bright, and can be seen for a long distance. Ours broke after just a couple months of use right at the base of the plastic wand. The dinghy was on the mother ship and my wife leaned over the dinghy to take out the plug and put her weight on the light, and it snapped. Not really the fault of the light. Also, at 24" the light was shining just over my head and created a lot of glare as the light reflected off the dinghy's tubes which hurt my night vision. With that said, I was going to buy another one, but will try to expoxy the broken one. ... show more

    • Works as advertised, but….
It required use of two pliers to bend the metal bracket to keep it from binding. Then I had to use a metal file to remove material to get it to lock in place easily.
