This commercial quality, heavy duty vise replaces another large vise I have. This vise has a thick, protective finish to prevent rusting. When I spin the crank, I thought about how a large vault handle spins - very enjoyably smooth. The screw diameter is substantially larger for a firm grip. This has four holes to mount to a bench, wheras my current vise has three. This comes with two wrenches and bolts and nuts to mount to a work bench. Surprisingly, it did not come with washers. This has plastic covers to the jaws to protect the finish of projects. This vice has the anvil centered in the middle, not on one side. The anvil is much larger in striking area. The jaws rotate 360 degrees to make working a lot more easier. There is a circular, dial plate that shows the degree or angle of rotation. There is one small indentation to show the angle. I plan to mark the 90 degree mark both ways that is not marked. My current vice does not rotate at all. The jaws can secure pipe. The body of this vise is very thick and heavy. Very heavy, the jaws will hold anything: pipes or square steel tubing, metal, your mower blades, etc perfectly. The ability to rotate / rotating head came handy so many times.
