I received sticks wrapped in moist paper towels like everybody else. One fat, 3 small. I gave 2 away once they were stable in a pot. They rooted in water incredibly fast, and it was very satisfying seeing them through the jars. The picture of the two I kept was ONLY 3 months from the day I received them. They haven't grown much in the subsequent 3 months due to the excessive heat in Texas this year. 107°F for what seemed like forever. Today I finally trimmed and shaped the small one after watching videos on YouTube. Mostly from 'Herons Bonsai', check him out! I'm very satisfied with the current appearance after chopping it back. Really quick shipping and exactly as described. I received 1 large cutting and 2 small. After 2 weeks the 2 small haven’t rooted and are turning black. The large cutting is doing amazing, and pretty sure it will be a beautiful tree. I was hoping 2 would root, but since one was free I can’t complain about a 50% success rate. I received 6 sticks: one large and 5 very small on Nov 2nd. Was not expecting them until Nov 6th. The large stem already had roots, but some were broken off which seemed to have no adverse effect. The package was wrapped in a plastic bag and the stems were wrapped in very wet paper towels across the bottom two inches. Following instructions, I placed all the "stems" in 2" of water. I put the larger one in a separate container. I also placed the containers under a grow light. The small sticks began growing leaves two days after I received them. On Nov 5th the large stick grew leaves and new roots. It appears more will be forthcoming soon. One stem has yet to root but leaves may be popping soon. I'm extremely happy with the results so far. Wish I had the luck other customers did. After five weeks of daily care, getting sun, getting outside, I ended up with 6 sticks in expensive soil. Will try again.

They started out very well and I did everything that was supposed to be done as described by the grower. For some reason they didn’t do very well and so there more or less in the Hospital for plants. I’ve done all I can with them and probably gonna have to Toss them in the trash. i’ve been growing plants for a long time. I have a plant room just dedicated to them full of grow lights and all kinds of other different plants so I write these as A P,U because they stink anyway the ones I got DOES. ... show more
