I received the parts with scratches on the composite wood boards and through the cheap paint or finish on the metal bars. Not only that, but there were permanent smudge marks dried on the metal bars, as if the paint or finish was wet and came into contact with something but was not corrected before drying. Given that this cost nearly $200 I expected the part to at least be manufactured to appear new - so not worth the price for what you get. On top of that the seller has drawn out my refund request (with a demand that shipping be paid as well) for 11 days now. I ended up opening a claim with Amazon. We bought this for our guest room. It is attractive, solidly built. Assembled easily. It is narrower than a hanging suit, so we placed it some inches from the wall so that hanging clothes didn't get cramped. There was one mismatch that wasn't a deal breaker; the center verticals were short and I had to fill the gap (cosmetic, not structural).     • Don't tighten the screws until the end

I just assembled this product yesterday, so I can't really speak to durability yet. I have purchased furniture in this style before and just wanted to let potential buyers know that if they do decide to try this product it's important to wait until the product is completely assembled before you tighten the screws all the way down. Once the screws are tightened everything is extremely sturdy, but there's no way that you can get the shelves to actually pop in if the screws are fully tightened. You want to barely hand tighten as you follow the steps and the use the allen wrenches at the very last. I do think it's a little weird that the clothing rail is squared rather than tube shaped. Since it's short I probably won't need to slide hangers side to side much, thankfully. I'm not sure that they could move smoothly. ... show more

Outstanding shelving exactly as pictured. Very sturdy and easy to build for someone who has built similar items otherwise have a second person to help. The quality is fantastic and heavy duty. I am not a fan of the Allen wrench but then again who is. I put this together by myself in under an hour and it fit perfectly for what I needed it for. It is heavy in the package so do not try to lift alone but it was well packaged and there were no sctratches or problems. I would buy this again and recommend to friends and family! ... show more

I love this style. I really had bad instructions on how to put this together. I had to do a layout to get it right. The instructions does not give every detail and the instruction sheet isn’t labeled correctly. Besides that, it is a good floor room closet, even though the medal feels a little weird.

All in all it looks great and I'm happy with it for the most part but there is one small detail that throws the entire thing off which is other than the fact that it does not come with very good instructions, after you put it together it tells you that there is about a quarter inch Gap after you assemble the shelving. As shown in the picture, the bar on the left side of the shelving unit does not reach the top of the Shelf. It makes it look cheap and unfinished and for the price you pay for this I was highly disappointed and discouraged with the product. Aside from those two details if you can Overlook them, it's a very sturdy and handsome product assemble the shelving. My house was built in 1974 and each bedroom had huge mirrored sliding doors on the closets with an AWFUL brass trim. I had considered trying to tape off the trim and spray paint with rustoleum or something, but ended up just removing the closets all together. I bought this for one of my spare bedrooms and it’s perfect. I love the colors, it’s very sturdy, and this allows you to place the “closet” anywhere in the room! I highly recommend!! ... show more

Let me just say that I was so happy to receive my item on time. The disappointing thing about it first was when I opened it one of the shells had a crack in it it was damaged and I was not happy about that. So I had to come back and do another review I feel so stupid because I did not know that there was two ranches in the bag one for the silverbolt and one for the gold boat. Once I tighten them up it is very sturdy and I am very pleased with it even though it took me maybe a good two to three hours to put it together only because it's only one person doing it and that's me. I'm still not happy because one of the shelves came cracked. But overall I'm glad I invested in this is really nice and it's not too big either just enough space to put it against the wall to hang the rest of my clothing in. ... show more
