Although I love the style, these are definitely not blackout style curtains. We are definitely going to have to invest in some shades to go behind them. In defense of the curtains however, I only put one panel on each window instead of a set, which obviously is bringing in more light. Great quality curtain for the price! The curtains are see through, so I recommend layering if you want complete privacy. I washed and dried them, prior to hanging and they did not shrink. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a linen curtain!

The first pack I ordered were dingy colored so I requested a replacement pack and they came dingy colored too.
