This bed is SOLID! I was even able to put it together without any other human support (All Praises to The Most High!). All items and tools are packed and labeled well with clear-to-follow instructions. No need for slats, as this platform frame has numerous crossboards that support my mattress very well. The headboard and footboard add a nice touch to the bed. I even secured some matching stands to complete the look. If you're taller than 5'7" or 5'8", you may find the height of the bed a little lower to the ground than you may like, but at 5'4.5", it's perfect for me.🙂 ... show more

Very nice frame. It did sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. Nice headboard and very handy with the plugs for cells phones. Only negative is that’s it was a bit too short for our liking. We purchase a 14” memory foam mattress and it just sat a bit too low. Ended up buying a 5” metal box foundation and zip tying it to this frame. Now it’s perfect! ... show more

I just got this put together. So we'll see. I do like it better than my old bed frame. But that one needed screws tightening every few months or it would wobble. This one used the same type of screws, but a bit better quality metal and more connections for added sturdiness. The only wood is the decorative wood you can see. The slates and everything underneath is metal, pretty decent metal, too. Directions are ok to follow. A little goofy at times, but only took me about an hour to get it all together. That includes getting rid of the old one and moving things around. It comes with everything you need to put it together, but I'd suggest having some basic tools. They don't pre-drill holes to install the electric box on the headboard. Just little guide holes. So you'll either need a real screwdriver to get those screws to bite and drill their own holes. Or a tiny drill and bit to drill holes yourself. I did both to avoid frustration and stripping the screws. I'll update on sturdiness a few months after use. ... show more

The Chinese make excellent instructions for people who "think" in Chinese terms or layouts. They really need one USA "technical writer for their Country. But yes. it is a good solid, nice looking bed frame

No issues with the frame, all the holes lined up correctly, nothing went wrong and it feels pretty sturdy surprisingly for how light weight it is. Nice amount of storage underneath as well. For my bed perfect. Would recommend so long as you understand it takes a minute to build, there is a lot of parts but the guide is easy to read and understand. ... show more
