Specifically, the four 7/16”-20 bolts which hold the brake backing plate to the axle were missing all four nuts.

    • No More Warping my Truck's Brakes!
My 7K car hauler only came with brakes on one axle, and even with my brake controller maxed out and using my manual transmission to help manage my speed on grades, I kept warping my trucks rotors. I wish I had bought these years ago! This kit fit my 3.5K axles fine and came with everything needed except the wire and nuts to bolt them to the axle flange. The nuts you need (QTY 8) are 7/16"-20 which can be a bit of a pain to source locally. ... show more

I ordered 2 sets of these brakes. I had a minor issue with one of the brakes / drums. Libra responded promptly and very professionally. Truly amazing customer service. Would highly recommend. Brakes are as nice or nicer than the Dexter system they replaced. 2 thumbs up.

    • Very dissapointing read before you buy
I ordered these to convert a single axle trailer with dexter axle to electric brakes. The hub kit arrived in two boxes. When I opened the boxes and removed the hubs they were dirty inside and out with some sort of black grit. They don't come with the nuts for the backing plate 7/16 x 20 (hard to find). I installed the kit and adjusted the brakes however when the brake controller was activated the brakes didn't work, they would not lock the wheels up on gravel using three times the power I use for my travel (2 Axle) trailer. I think the magnets are faulty they would make a hum when the controller was activated. I used two different trucks to test with the same result. I had voltage at the brakes as high as 12.26V with no braking. I removed the hubs and reinstalled the original equipment to the trailer. I have requested a return and refund of my money. Update: Libra just informed me that they will not refund any money on parts that have been installed. How do you know if the brakes will work or are any good unless you mount and test them so I'm out $189.00 I used to trust Amazon. NO WHERE IN THE DESCRIPTION ON AMAZON DOES IT STATE THIS POLICY. Think long hard before you buy from a third party on Amazon. They did offer to ship out new magnets. 2nd Update: I contacted Amazon A to Z guarantee they contacted the seller and arranged for me to get a refund minus a $35.00 restocking fee which is better then the total amount.     • Very disappointed
The kit ones not come with the nuts to mount the back hub to the axle. Now I have to figure out what size the nut is. I had my axle greased and and plastic wrapped ti make sure it didn’t rust before u got these in and installed. After setting everything up and getting the axle ready I realized I can’t install these as now I have to er nuts. I go 2 brake hubs and both boxes were mu the nuts so it was not an accident ... show more
