I'm 5'4" and I normally use size 20 to 22 women's jeans and my wife is 5'10 and normally uses women's size 20 jeans and we both are between 240 lbs and 260lbs I ordered a size 3XL in these wetsuit pants and the first order was lost or delivered to the wrong location the replacement did however get delivered and I can say that even with the difference highth that the 3xl actually fits both me and my wife. They do stretch some & there's a drawstring on the side to tighten up the waist a little more. I can't say anything about if it works for keeping you warm in cold water yet but as far a size goes it works. We have a trip in April to Florida I'm going to try it out to see about protection against jellyfish and a trip in September to California where I'll be testing it for warmth from cold water. I'll update my review after that. Delivery driver definitely was a problem because they didn't follow the instructions I left & they delivered the first one to the wrong location but thankfully Amazon customer service was able to replace it promptly and it works ... show more

I purchased this as an alternative to waders. Coupled with NSR work boots and Sealskinz knee high 3mm socks I'm comfortable in Sierra Nevada mountain stream snow melt. Excellent!

For a person at 5'10"-5'11", at 180 lb with 40" chest, the jacket Large size had too much room inside and the sleeves opening was also large and the length was too long. I replaced it with Medium size and the whole dimensions were smaller by about 1"-1.5" and they fit a lot better and more snug which I have read to be a better fit for wet suit because they loosen up when they are wet. Large size Pants were even bigger where the pack of the knee and thighs were bunching up and the waist was too large for 33" waist and too high even in front. ... show more
