This gaming desk has a sleek modern look and comes with several accessories. In addition to the cool LED lights and the remote that actually works, this table also comes complete with grommet covers, a cup holder that you can attach to the bottom side of the desk, as well as a headset rack that attaches to the bottom of the desk - you can choose where you want each. It also comes with the largest mouse pad I have ever seen - it is the full depth of the desk top and about half it's length. The desk is not super sturdy in so far as, if you bump it, it will wiggle about a bit, but it doesn't feel like it is going to come apart. The top is two-piece, but it has two square tubes that run the length between leg supports, so there is no sag at the joint. I mounted a two-arm monitor support with 21 inch monitors on each, and placed my lap top on it as well. It supports all of this and my charger and docking station at mid-span with no noticeable sag in the top. The carbon fiber-ish top looks good and is smooth and cleanable. The steel legs have a lightly textured matt finish and are well constructed. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a desk of this sort. ... show more

For a desk I got on sale, it was a great value. The assembly wasn’t terrible and the lights are a nice touch but not required for everyone. It is fairly sturdy, however during assembly the wooden dowels holding the two halves of the desk top together seemed fairly weak and kept the pieces from joining completely. I would probably prefer either longer dowel or a different material like metal. Besides that, it is a wonderful desk. ... show more

The aesthetics are not for everyone, and if you want to spend money, you can do better. But this desk is sturdy, has a cupholder, and two cable holes to reduce clutter. The headphone hook doesn’t work for me personally, as I keep my tower below and therefore have less space for my chair and legs. Still, for the money it’s a banger for hobbyists like myself. My monitor eats a lot of real estate, and sadly the promised mount did not arrive with it. If you CAN wall mount or get a vice type mount to get your monitor off your desk, you’ll immediately be better off. I may still buy a riser box to achieve this. If you still want more real estate, go with a bigger sized desk. I was highly limited for room space, myself. The surface cleans pretty easy, and the large mousepad cleans easily too, while hiding the center desk seam as the desktop is actually two halves. Cold drinks should be kept in the cupholder, to extend the life of the tabletop laminate. The mousepad handles the hot bowl of ramen we all know you’ll set on it. The lights...they’re lights. They’re controlled by one of those RGB thin remotes you see with the low-end battery-powered add-on kits, and cheap under-car light strips. They do a few patterns, have a dozen or less colors, but any decent RGB PC fans should allow you to match them if that appeals. They have a transformer brick, which is not the most awesome option. You could use adhesive to put it user the desk, but the power cable they provide is rather short, to make it very far to a power strip. So, the desk is good, the price is good, the lights are okay.
