I've had problems in the past with retractable leashes. My Husky would chew on the leash and break it. She can't do it with this one. The bungee cord leash is great for us. It keeps her from going too far (6ft.) when she's tries to go after the local rabbits. I like that the collar and leash match. Great that they are reflective for night walks. There is even a ring to clip on the poop bags, a rubber cover at the handle, and a rubber protector near wear a dog would try to chew. Definitely would recommend. ... show more

Purchased for our 3-month GS who we are training. Leash and collar are very durable for a strong and overanxious pup. Leash has 1-hook to carry doggie bags, collapsible bowl and tug toy comfortably. We added another hook to carry his water bottle bag. Also there is a rubber piece at the lower end of the leash-(where the dog shouldn’t but does generally gnaw) so it protects the leash (until the pup is corrected.) Collar has a plastic locking mechanism to reinforce the collar clasp AND a locking metal clasp so collar size doesn’t slip. Fits him with no signs of chaffing or irritation on his skin. Very happy with my purchase. We will eventually have to upgrade to a metal clasp. Was worth the purchase price of $9.00 ... show more

I was very impressed with the leash. Given the price I assumed it would be cheaply made. It's a solid leash and the padding on the handle prevents it from pulling into your hand. I love this leash. My only issue with this leash is that my puppy goes crazy over the comfortable plush handle so much that he ripped it off. I still love this leash, since he has not been able to completely break through the well-made rope leash and there is the part that goes near his mouth that has prevented him from chewing straight through the leash.
