I bought this about a year ago. I LOVE how it curls and straightens my hair. My hair is incredibly straight and doesn’t hold a curl well- until I got the le duo. My curls look great and hold up all day. I can create different curls with it, and they always look great. Unfortunately, just shy of a year of owning this, the plastic is not holding up at all. I do use it almost every day, but for the price, I’m incredibly disappointed. Prior to this, I had curling irons and straighteners that lasted decades… as much as I love how it actually works, I’ll likely be searching for a different product before too long, since the coating is peeling right off Update: I changed this to a five star rating because I’m so impressed with the company. I was writing this review so others knew what to expect. L’Ange reached out to me almost immediately and ended up sending me a replacement for my defected product. I had to cut the cord of my old one, and I truly missed having it to style my hair each day. I got the replacement today, and I will absolutely be purchasing from L’Ange in the future ... show more

I have had several friends speak of this flat iron, and upon seeing the reviews here and on their web site, I decided to purchase. Well, I had just washed, conditioned and air dried my hair. At this point in the process, it's a huge mess. SO on we go with the process of making it look like a real person was under all the hair. I have allot and its med to course. No color no chemicals in 30 years. SO organic. Divided my hair and started. 1st thing is that it's basically cool to the touch on the outside. So I was inpressed with that, because HOW MANY TIMES have I burned my self, on the ear, face, back of neck... Answer is allot of times. Long story short, Super easy to use, I Love the air flow, and the curls are really good. I didn't use it today as a flat iron, but as curling iron. Again Impressive. Easy to use, I didn't have the usual HAIR getting caught in the clip part and being pulled out of my head. NO burning of sking, and no smell of burning hair. This product is superior. Worth the try for sure, especially if you Love your hair. Because it doesn't hurt it like other hot tools I Have used and given to the 'resale shop' in a very short time. This ONE IS A KEEPER ... I ordered this just to see if it would be a good travel alternative to the flat iron I was already using and happy with. The curling iron mechanism makes it easier to maneuver for curling my very straight hair. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived! The weight, size, ease-of-use, and look and feel blew me away! I also love the fan. This iron curls my hair brilliantly without burning or damaging it and it's much easier to use as far as the wrist movement to get it to curl. I was getting ready to go on a one week cruise and was looking for a new straighter since my last one finally died on me after 10 years lol. I wanted something that could both curl and straighten. I decided to go with the standard size vs grande and since I normally curl my hair with a straightener it was an easy transition on how to use it. I have long, thick, colored and somewhat damaged ends and I have a lot of hair… And I was very pleasantly surprised on how well it worked. It only took me minutes and curls lasted they the next day. They gave me the perfect beach waves I was looking for, and it also straightened my hair well. If you’re going to curl your hair, you select the temp that works best for your hair, select the fan and after about 20 seconds once it’s ready to the desired temp the fan will turn on and it’s ready to use. The fan helps set your hair while curling and is cool the touch. If you’re straightening you don’t need the fan. I absolutely love this product. I have long , fine hair and the curl didn't last more then 20 minutes , even with product. A regular old curling iron lasted longer. ***Update*** L'ANGE reached out to check in around my concerns and were willing to help me make sure that I love my product. I watched some more videos on other customers using the product and after more use I've realized that the straightener does a great job and that this has been my best hair tool purchase in years! Highly recommend!! Got this product because I was hoping it'd be perfect for both curling and straightening my hair....and it half is. I do get the great curls/beachy waves that I was hoping for! My issue is with the straightener. Sadly the plates feel very loose when I try to straimy fine hair and even after like five or six passes it just doesn't my hair is still meh. It's like there's not enough pressure to do the job well. I'm also bummed that I went the Amazon route to support giving a favorite influencer a commission, but you don't get all the extra product goodies when you buy this route 😭. Considering returning because of the straightener not really being what I'd hoped. Wondering of anyone else has found this an issue. Sad because I'd adore the product otherwise ... show more
