It tastes ok, but these come with a cheese sauce that is already in gooey form rather than a powder. When you make mac and cheese with the powder you put your own butter and milk and it tastes great. This has that already mixed in so it's their version of whatever dairy and butter they are using, and it definitely tastes subpar to what you can make with the powder form. Taste or flavor was not affected but boxes were rather beat up and the product was past its expiration date. We did not notice these issues until we had opened and were cooking the macaroni. We saw that the other boxes were also beat up and expired.

I prefer this to the other box Mac and cheese, it's creamy and the flavor is much better. This one doesn't have that chalky taste the other one with the powder mix has. It's also easier to use, the packet of cheese in the box is all you need...no milk or butter to add...I like that.

The cheese sauce is very cheesy. I shouldn't be complaining about that but I ended up using 2/3 of the packet of cheese sauce instead of the whole packet. I also added just about 1/3 cup of of milk to the mixture to blend it out a bit because it was so cheesy. The product arrived in a timely manner and I would order from them again. ... show more

Who doesn't love Kraft Mac& Cheese? We buy this in the large pack because if my daughter had her way she would eat it for every meal! She doesn't but we do allow her to have it for lunch several times a week and this larger pack is great to keep on hand. This type has the cheesy "sauce" packet because my husband complains when he actually has to mix the power one together. Is it really that hard to mix butter, powder, and milk? ... show more

This mac 'n cheese is excellent for a boxed product and very simple to cook. The cheese just needs to be squeezed out of its pkg into the cooked macaroni. Taste is not as good as fresh cooked real cheese, but for convenience, it's great.
