Bought this Kozyard Gazebo on Amazon and it was delivered in 5 boxes. Says in directions should take 2 people 8 hours to assemble. {It took 4 people to hold legs as top pieces screwed on and placed into location}. This is not likely as I was a professional contractor and have numerous tools in my garage. Instructions were not real clear on construction and plans had to be studied to get correct. It took me 5 days. Used 2 ladders an 8 foot and a 6 foot. Would recommend a drill/driver that has a clutch to disengage if to much pressure is exerted. Overall, the quality is excellent it is not made of flimsy material, holes matched perfectly most of time. One thing side curtains are of superior material and should wear well. Plan on having 3 people and a long weekend to assemble but the pieces were all well made and the instructions were pretty good. Also you definitely need super glue as recommended

So glad I found this gazebo on Amazon! This one was the one I had wanted from Lowe’s but it was much more expensive there. We paid to have it installed because we didn’t have the time or the experience for a project like this. Very pleased with the look of it and the quality.

Pros: Arrived in a timely fashion. Majority of of parts were intact. After setting up it looked great. 👌 Cons: Instructions were not great. It did take us about 8-9hrs to complete in one day with about 4 people. The main area that was complicated was the roof and the appropriate screws. Make sure you try to use the adhesive tape provided for the plastic brakes they fall of very easily while installing. ... show more

Absolutely love my metal roof gazebo. Took me and two others a day and a half to put together but it looks great on my deck. Assemble is a little tough once you start trying to put the roofing panels up but the product is sturdy and gorgeous once fully assembled. We have a rooftop patio where we’ve had a canvas tent for years that has served as a fun guest bedroom. The tent finally reached the end of its life so we decided to upgrade it to a hardtop gazebo to better weather the Southern California sun. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The metal hard top is really the biggest selling feature, as most other brands have a semi transparent plastic roof that are more fragile and add a bit to the heat inside. I’m confident the powder coating will not rust, and it’s a great copper brown color with a texture. The dual curtains are very thick and have done well in a lot of rain. The curtains do attach with plastic connectors, but the company also sells metal ones if you want to upgrade. We hung a lantern from the hook inside for some lighting. Assembly as everyone has mentioned is no joke, it definitely takes two people at least half a day if they are strong and skilled, but the instructions were clear and minimal tools are needed. The product ships in two big heavy boxes, so be prepared for that. Our use case is very specific, but the one thing I wish is that the curtains had a tie on the very bottom and were weighted, as when it’s windy the bottom does blow in a bit. ... show more

So far I am very happy with my 10x10 "gray" gazebo. But either it's more black than I thought, or I got the wrong color. I don't know. But it was too late to make it an issue out of it. I'll have to deal with it. I hired a Mennonite family of 2 adults and 2 helpful teenagers to assemble it. It took them 4 hours, and I paid them $400. But I had spent a couple hours previous to this, to take everything out of the boxes and wrappings, and set the stuff up on tables. All the parts were there. No problems. They had assembled one before, and studied the instructions ahead of time (which I got by emailing the company - which took a couple requests but finally they sent it after a few days). As far as mounting it to the composite plastic deck, I bought 12@ 5/16th inch lag bolts at 2" long. I also filled the triangular posts with pea gravel to add extra weight, per the idea of another commenter. One 0.5 cubit foot bag per post. ... show more
