This is a really great set and looks like it will be tons of fun to do. The only thing that really stood out as a negative is that this is real wood and it has the bark still on it. And holding that, it ocurred to me that you can tell how old a tree is by counting the number of rings and when counting the rings, these trees were 10 and 12 years old. And that actually broke my heart. I have been actively planting in my yard to help the environment and have several non-fruiting cherry trees and cottonwoods as wekk as 1 maple, 2 silver maples, and a lilac shrub in addition to the evergreens. So, holding these young trees felled in the prime of their lives for entertainment, made me feel not great. This is a really nice kit and looks like it will be so much fun to do. ... show more

This review is for "Klever Kits 16 pcs Wooden Painting Kit-Glow in The Dark- Arts and Crafts for Kids Ages 6-12..." What a great art craft project, especially for outside days this summer. I was a little skeptical when looking at the bunny being painted in the listing pictures and noticing the crack in the wood medallion. I was worried the wood medallions would be low quality but I was pleasantly surprised by both the size and quality of the wood pieces. Make sure you open this where some pieces of bark can fall off. They are natural wood slabs. There are 12 colors of paint pods. They do not glow in the dark but the three paints that look like pink, yellow and green neon markers definitely glowed in a dark closet. I watch my grandson during the summer months and this will be a great fun activity for both of us and some friends, too! ... show more

    • Great craft for kids!
This craft kit is perfect for kids ages 4 and up. It will being out the creative side. My niece loved decorating the wood slices. My only negative thing is the glow paint didn't really glow that much, but overall the craft is a cute idea. Would recommend.

    • Kit needs more decorative supplies and tools
I liked the creative idea behind this kit. It is a lot of fun. The recommended age for this kit is 6+, and I would agree with that. The wood pieces are large enough for a child to design her animal or image but they are not too large or overbearing. As for the decorative supplies, I thought the kit needed more. If three children were creating their projects, there would be insufficient paint, glitter, glue, or glow-in-the-dark paint sticks. Children don’t think of saving enough paint for the next child. They only think about their current project. Adult supervision is highly recommended for this project. The kit is overpriced, considering the quantity and quality of brushes and paints included. If you are a craft person, you may want to add some of your own paints and brushes to this project. Overall, it is still a lot of fun for children. ... show more

This is a fantastic craft activity, perfect for a kids party, classroom activity, or rainy day. The set comes with nearly everything you need: 16p wood slices, 8 felt sheets, 10 pairs of Amusing Wiggly eyes, 3 glow-in-the-dark paints, 2 glitter glues, 2 paint brushes, 12 acrylic paints and over 500 gems. The kids had fun decorating their wood slices, though it would be helpful if this set came with more paint brushes given the number of wood slices included in it.
