Heavy duty, holds more than enough. Was skeptical of the plastic lid hinge but has held up so far with everyday use for the last 6 months. Easy to clean. And holds ice for a few days at 70 degrees in the front seat of a car.

    • Very sturdy design very good insulation really cool look
This product is better than anticipated, slightly heavy but very well insulated, it is big enough honestly to store lunch for probably two people if you don't eat a whole lot or to store enough drinks for two people for all day. The flip top lid is convenient and can be used as an eating tray or simply to hold things off of the dirty floor while you eat. It contains a small compartment in the top of the lid that can only be accessed from the bottom of the lid which is large enough to put a few keys in maybe a couple packs of fruit snacks or your wallet if you go to the beach. They say it is able to withstand 300 lb of weight on top of it I have not yet tested this however I weigh about 140 lb and my boss weighs over 220 lb and we both have used this as a step stool on job sites. Very sturdy I am very happy would recommend. The only gripes I have about this product are the straps. The shoulder strap / carrying strap conversion combo is brutally efficient however it can be a bit awkward as the lunch box doesn't like to lay up against your body when you have it over your shoulder and the lunch box is large enough that if you fill it up and try to use the carrying handle without putting it over your shoulder it would be very heavy to carry with one arm. ... show more

    • trying to keep my lunch colder longer
with a 12-hour period for my lunches this item is necessary for keeping your items cooler much longer if you're not going to be able to refrigerate any items for long periods. the workmanship and construction are exceptional. the lid gently locks into place and has a hole through the case so you can put a lock on it to prevent Intruders from stealing your lunch. the other thing that's really good is that after keeping it in your freezer overnight and putting a lunch in there or even freezing a bottle of ice tea sorry plastic bottle of iced tea with it it'll keep your lunch cold throughout the day maybe your iced tea might be thawed out after about 10 hours or longer. and the other side of the coin it's a very slippery plastic. this has a very different feel from the nylon cases that were used to carrying and takes a little adjustment for transporting and it needs a different attitude for transporting. overall I'm very happy with it and it does work very well I'm very happy with the workmanship and the quality it is more pricey than most but if you're looking for something that works for you this will work sufficiently. ... show more

I will have to say I have bought several coolers over the years and for the money this Klein is worth every penny! Although I know Klein has an EXCELLENT reputation for their tools and I do own several, I wasn’t looking to them for a cooler. I should have known they would not put their name on anything that wasn’t top of the line and this cooler was no exception. The whole reason I looked at the cooler was the simple shoulder strap that was even more sturdy than the pictures. I like a cooler that has a strap that way my hands are free to carry other things like a laptop or something else. This also cuts back on trips to the truck. This cooler is tough and I mean Honey Badger tough! It is a little heavy, very sturdy and very well made. It also has a small storage compartment in the top of the lid for small items. Klein also claims that this cooler will support a 300 pound man I can’t say for sure, but it is a great seat for me at 180 lbs. (I would be willing for someone to try it) And last but definitely not least YES, YES, YES! this cooler keeps my stuff cold!!! I can say I have only tested it for two days and it did awesome! Normally I would look for a cooler made by companies like Colman, Igloo, and Ozark Trail which I either have or still own. They are all good but for my everyday lunch cooler this one is top shelf number one! I have had other people to ask, “Hey is that a Klein tool box?” “That’s nice” And when I open it up with food in it they love it.
