Of all the filament types I have tried, Kingroon PETG has by far the highest quality prints. I run it at 265 degrees, 80 degree bed, and slow inner and outer walls by 50mm/s. No stringing, always adheres. So far not a single failed print. I will definitely never shop elsewhere for PETG.

I've been printing a lot with PETG lately and I've been putting my P1P through its paces. I've been throwing at it all sorts of filament including some pretty old ones and the results have been amazingly consistent. I'm saying this because it has helped comparing filaments. The positives: - priced very competitively - good bed adhesion (as good as any other more expensive filament) - seems to have expected strength performance (used it to print compressed air canister parts and they held up well) which makes it a good candidate for functional prints that don't need to be/look perfect The negatives: - the prints show layer defects generally consistent with uneven diameter size and they are difficult to adjust for - a lot more artifacts show up than expected which probably means the filament requires tuning of temps and flow rates. In my equation of time vs money it falls short. - the color is a bit too blue In conclusion I think this is a solid 3 star that gets the extra bump because of the price. This filament was cheap to buy and severely over priced. Bed adhesion was ok, layer adhesion is abysmal. Prints will regular split at layer lines while printing. After printing it becomes very brittle. I was going to use this to print master spools and figured it was cheep and if it even halfway worked it would be good. No such luck. I tried temperatures from 230c to 260c. Temperature didn't mater. This stuff just does not like to stick to itself. Drying it for over 24 hours didn't help. The only thing this filament may be good for is very small prints where quality, durability, and appearance doesn't matter. I'd consider using it as hinge pin material but I'm afraid it would break. ... show more

I love printing with CF filament, the smooth layer lines that disappear into the model, the satin black finish. What’s not to like? The Kingroon CF is the easiest I’ve used. I use generic PLA settings in Bambu Slicer and adjust the bed temp to around 65C, Hotend temp is around 220C. Some very slight stringing on larger prints, nothing a heat gun can’t fix quickly. This filament out-performs the E-Sun and Overture that I would typically print with. Do not let the low price deter you, thinking that low price=low quality. This filament is worth every penny. I am printing it on my X-Smart3 at speeds up to 500mms with no issues at all. It comes out flawlessly every time. 95% of everything in those pictures were printed with Kingroon filament. I now print exclusively with Kingroon. Unless I need a specialty filament that they do not carry. ... show more

Printed this on my Prusa MK4 at high speeds and it prints really nice. Compared to some other filaments and I couldn’t tell the difference between them which is a good thing. Nice PETG and definitely recommend it.
