I purchased this mirror months ago in preparation for a bathroom remodel. We hung it yesterday. First, let me say how well this product was packaged. It was super well padded and sealed for transport. Our contractor installed it without issue. At first I was so upset as I thought there was only off and on with the touch button. I knew I would not have purchased without a light changing function. I went back to the description and was pleasantly reminded that holding the on/off button for 3 seconds changes the light intensity. Also, this setting stays in memory for the next time you turn the light on. It’s only been a week since install. It looks high end over the vanity. So…… to date, I am very happy with this purchase. Pretty much like everything. Installation really takes two people, otherwise all is good. ( Please overlook the patches in the wall around the edges as they have nothing to do with the mirror and were caused by the removal of a larger wall attached mirror). I have had this mirror now for about one year and it is very nice. My title "durable" relates to the fact that this mirror was knocked over while resting on the bedroom floor leaned up against our bed while awaiting installation. It landed on my contractors tool bag and I thought for sure it was destroyed, but it did not break or crack or damage in any way! The first mirror I ordered (from another source) was never delivered as it was damaged in the crate!! We really enjoy the mirror and the lighting is on a separate source than our basic lighting. It's nice in the night if we need to turn on the light but want a soft and low light so as not to light up the whole area! I highly reccommend. ... show more

I was excited about this mirror but not so much after installing it. My daughter likes it though. - I needed a handyman to install it. - The lighting around the mirror takes away two inches on all sides. So, choose a mirror that four inches longer and higher than your current regular mirror. - The lighting looks cool but useless. In fact, it hinders vision a little. It doesn’t light up your face but causes glare. I always turn it off. - The defrost area is quite small. (About 20” x 12” in a 48” x 28” mirror.) ... show more

Mirror looks nice however when in standby mode it makes a high pitch whining sound. Update 1/15/23, I received a replacement mirror which works perfectly! It’s quiet and looks good.
