The wrap is a soft comfortable fabric but does not allow much airflow when worn. My newborn would get very hot & sweaty after not too long of being in the wrap. With summer coming up, this wrap will not be a good option for us. The product comes with step by step directions with how to apply and wear the wrap but it takes a lot of practice to wear it correctly enough to hold your baby securely. I found myself having to hold my baby with one arm because the wrap would be too loose, which defeats the purpose of baby-wearing if you can't have both hands free. ... show more

I was extremely excited to get this wrap for my baby who always needs to be held, but it's just not what I had in mind. The material is very thick and not really all that stretchy like I had anticipated, so it bunches up when youre trying to wrap yourself. I'm around 175 lbs and I can barely get it around me all the way to tie it. I know every baby is different, but at least for my baby, this is the winner. The boba was nice, but a little too stretchy - I could never keep it from slipping. First try with the kea babies and she didn’t slip the whole time. I also tried a variety of carriers/hybrid carriers (like the boba bliss, ergobaby) and while those were far more simple, I think the seat area was uncomfortable for my baby’s legs. She screamed horribly in all of them. She’s very comfy in this one! Yes it’s complicated to put together, but play with it in a mirror a few times and tie it tighter than you think you need to so it supports your baby and doesn’t slip! I spend a good 10 min making sure I have it on right when baby is sleeping in her crib so I don’t have to fiddle with it when she’s awake - can just pop her in the pre-wrapped wrap after her next feed! ... show more
