I have a rescue gecko he was born with disabilities and no one would take him so I adopted the lil guy. I’ve had him for 5 years and I’m always trying to make him the most comfy I possibly can! He has issues with his arms so it can make walking difficult especially with rough carpet surfaces. I will admit I was skeptical and worried this would get caught on his little claws, like other carpets, but it DOESNT! He LOVED this carpet as soon as I replaced it he started walking more and stretching out more, it doesn’t bother his little claws or arms it’s easy for him to glide over and it made me so happy to see him moving about more and laying down on the carpet rather than his rock all the time. PLEASE bring this back!!!!! I know some reviews mentioned shedding but I’ve had no problems with shedding at all nor does it get stuck to my geckos claws like the other carpets! I didn't realize these were so soft until I got them. Tried it out in my largest Bearded. Within an hour he was in love. He sprawled out and was fast asleep in less than an hour. My other Bearded acted the same way. The only thing I was concerned about was that they wouldn't stay soft after I cleaned them, and they do. I didn't have to do much to clean them. I just washed the out with hot water to sterilize them. Dried they are still soft. ... show more

I love how easy these are to clean. My frogs love them. I have a tree frog I called gimpy who can't get in the water anymore on his own so it was important that I changed out the substrate so he wasn't constantly dirty.

So fine. SO soft. SO SHEDS!!! Seriously...fibers went everywhere just opening the package. Including my right eye. I'm giving 2 stars because otherwise the description is valid. But, I will be returning asap...as I don't want to be picking fibers out of my turtle's eyes all of the time.

This product is not a advertised, literally all it is a piece of craft foam paper with green fabric on top! I highly don’t recommend this product, this is a bad product!
