These boxes are okay and work fine for my purpose. Definitely not water proof. Probably splash proof but not waterproof. They flex when picking them up, probably because of all the removable dividers. The lid doesn't latch with an air or water tight seal. There is no seal on the lid but those types that do have a seal are more expensive. The latches seem to be sturdy and of good quality and will last a long time. I'm using these boxes to store 4" (1:18th scale) action figures. With the dividers removed the box will hold 12 figures. These boxes would be good for fish casting type lures and that's probably what they are designed for. Very comparable to the equivalent "Plano" boxes. ... show more

These are extra sturdy and fit perfectly in our grandson’s new camouflage tackle box for his Christmas gift this year. We left them unassembled and his new tackle wrapped separately so he can fill them himself. Pretty sure these will be a big hit with our 12 year old outdoorsman. These are really strong and really sturdy Tackle Boxes. They can fit quite a bit in them and go very well with the KastKing Tackle bags. I didn't realize that they come in different colours and will be buying both of my sons' favourite colours when I can. :)

Needed more Plano 3700 series utility boxes, but they are wildly more expensive than these Kastkings. Also intended to replace a Plano utility box in my Plano 3700 series Tacklebox. These Kastking 3700s are comparable in overall size, AND fit in the Plano tackle box just fine (marked red in tackle box picture). In fact, these Kastking boxes have an extra inch of storage space depth (front to back) in the same overall volume over the Planos! (pictured) Will replace tackle box Planos with these Kastkings. Definitely recommend if looking for similar 3700 series needs. ... show more
