The cotton material is real !! Only complaint is the fact that tie strings are extremely thin and short but no worries I just didn't use them.

    • Surprisingly Nice for the Money!
This is a lovely duvet cover set. It's very soft to the touch, but heavy enough not to look cheap. For those who are having trouble seeing the colors, the background (which looked lavender-ish on my computer) is a very pale, soft taupe. All of the colors are beautiful and the contrast is subtle. I may return the queen size and order the king size for my queen bed because it barely covers the mattress, even BEFORE I put the duvet inside it. Also, there is a pattern which dictates how you center it on the bed, if things being off-center bother you as much as they do me. The reverse is a rich teal with a soft taupe pattern; centering and adjusting the side drape is easier with the reverse side. Unfortunately, even though the shams also have the teal reverse side, they have an envelope closure and you can't flip them over to use that side. Ties or a zipper would fix that limitation. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great set! Came quickly and I immediately washed and dried it. Held up well and is soft but not TOO soft (which feels cheap to me and usually doesn’t withstand the test of time) I put a king insert into the queen duvet and it fit great, adding lots of extra fluff. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the item did not come as pictured. The pillow cases advertised had an orange stripe and my set did not (as pictured). I looked forward to the pop of orange and accentuating it with different decor. But it does not take away from the comfort or quality so I’ll definitely keep! I love it! Btw it does wrinkle almost like linen, which I love. Linen has become too heavy for me to sleep with so this is a great alternative. Also, it isn’t long so if you prefer your duvet to cover the sides and end of bed, size up! ... show more
