Just closing the blinds was not enough for my room, nowhere near the darkness you’d like to relax or sleep. I finally got these curtains and they are absolutely perfect! Not really heavy but also not at all flimsy. They really do provide the “blackout” function I was looking for. Oh my! I love the drapes! YouTube influencer shared this particular drape and everyone was asking where did you purchase the drapes. She stated Amazon and how much she loved the texture, color and price. I love the color as it matches everything. I’m remodeling the Living Room and I wanted to upgrade to grommet drapes. They turned out perfect! Waiting for furniture to arrive to see how it will compliment the drapes. The drapes will dramatically change the entire look of the room. It definitely has given the Living Room a lift. The drapes are medium weight. I thought they were going to be light weight but it’s on the medium side. The color is grayish white. Again they compliment any piece of furniture. I actually bought more for the Dining Room, Family Room and Office. Just a side note if you want to make your room appear larger hang the drapes closer to the ceiling. I ordered 90 and 96 lengths that way they sweep the floor just a little not much. I'm so impressed by these drapes! They are actually black-out, even in the bright LA sun. They block the sun better than much pricier black-out curtains I have. The only light that comes through is a little at the very top, which will obviously happen with any curtains. I have them in denim blue and charcoal, and both are great colors. I ordered these drapes several months ago. I'm decorating a new house and just got to the point of hanging these drapes up in my living room. Overall I'm very happy with them. They hang really well. The color and texture are perfect against the wall color. I had one issue. I ordered 4 pair of 96 inch drapes. But, much to my surprise two of the pair were only 94.5 inches. At first I thought I must have made a mistake putting up the rods. But, no. They were 94.5 inches. Fortunately there was enough of a hem that I could lengthen them. The fabric is heavy enough that the smaller hem at the bottom of these two pair will not be noticed. People said I should call Amazon and return them. But I had looked for months for just the right shade of gray curtains to match the wall color. I didn't want to start that process all over again. ... show more
