Took my dad and I more like 2 1/2 days to build. One day was a rainy day so we couldn't finish that day. The right door was frustrating when a part broke but we just attached an L bracket and it works great now. Directions were very confusing in the beginning and frustrating when it came to just figuring out how to set it up with the brackets that go down to be upwards. It leeks little when raining near the windows even after putting that silicone spray they tell you to in the directions but not to bad. Gets little warm so we added a fan and a thermometer so we can tell the temperature to grow our vegetable garden. Its definitely not a one person job. I love it though its cute, and works pretty great for what i am using it for. Oh also added some magnetic screens to the roof windows so bugs wont come in as much. customer service was sorta helpful when i was trying to ask them about if i could replace the part that broke on the door when i was putting that together turns out their warehouse was closed; but they seemed willing to help even though they couldn't sense it was closed for holidays. oh well its up Im happy over all, it looks good for the price we paid over all. Update: added a magnetic screen to the front door to prevent bugs when leaving the doors open and allow more airflow. Might have to install an exhaust fan in the future to the back if you want more airflow so it doesn’t get too hot. So far the hottest it’s been inside is 101 degrees Fahrenheit with a spring day here in California. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a sturdy greenhouse if you build it right. It will be stronger if you add about 500 6mm washers under the many nuts and bolt heads (not included). Instructions have you hold it down with expansion bolts into the soil which seems near useless. Better to screw it onto a treated lumber base. Be warned that it's not a full 8x12. Actual exterior dimensions are 134 3/4" by 90 1/2". All measurements are in metric so you'll need math to get feet/inches. Instructions are very, very bad. Unhelpful part labeling, missing steps, drawings that lack important details. With better instructions it would take half as long, and require a quarter the brain power. Maybe the attached video will help. They desperately need a good tech writer who assembles a couple then makes 1/2/3 instructions. Plus some photos for tricky details, labels like "roof 2" instead of L02B. Up/inside/outside labels. When finished, it looks nice, performs well and seems durable. ... show more

This 8X12 greenhouse is the perfect size. I have my spring garden plants in there now. The ventilation is good with 4 roof vents. I was disappointed in that it didn't include at least one automatic roof vent opener. This product is very sturdy and has a lot of clips for tie downs. I had to have the holes in the clips drilled out a bit to accommodate the larger spike I wanted to use. we have had several very windy days, but no problems. It could include plant hanger clips or at least mention that you should insert then before the roof goes on. I'm very pleased with this greenhouse and would recommend it.     • What? 7-1/2x11-3/4 ft not 8x12.

!st off. According to the web site, greenhouse is 8x12ft. The finished product comes out to be 7.5 x 11.75 ft. The instruction manual is poorly written and poorly laid out. The aluminum is very thin to the point that the pieces will bend, at Location where it attaches to another piece, if a slight breeze pushes it off. Several of the aluminum pieces were dinged or dimpled prior to being placed into the shipping box. I state this since the box only had one places where it was damaged and a polycarbonate panel took the damage. Some of the panels are hard to insert due to the aluminum ends are bent to far towards the channel the panel runs in. I had to bend the corners out a bit to get the panels inserted. The windows need to be designed for a better fit and sturdiness. You will need silicone chalk to seal the roof panels. Also, you will need additional drain pipe to handle the rain water. This was a very stressful installation for me and family. The greenhouse is up and plants are enjoying the warmth but I cannot recommend this product due to the amount of damage to aluminum pieces, poor quality/strength of aluminum, and installation directions. Let's not forget the true size of the greenhouse compared to what the description states. I paid for a 8x12 ft greenhouse which I did not receive. I love my green house! It is well made and sturdy. It definitely helps with cold temperatures. I would say in March, the greenhouse was 20 degrees warmer inside than outside. I ran electric to the green house and added a small space heater to keep temps above freezing inside. Now that the temps are consistently above 50, I just leave all the doors and windows open. During the early spring, I wish the windows came with automatic window openers. Pro tip: have a lot of patience getting started with your green house. Level ground is key and the directions for the greenhouse are not great. Once you get the base done, it gets easier. Also, we had to dremmel some plastic on the door handle piece. The plastic would get caught on the door if one of the doors was locked in place. Then there was no shutting the other door, but shaving some off the handle fixed the problem. ... show more
