  • Awesome product !
I found a brochure for a tiny hidden camera in my couch cushion.. I have been looking for this device for a month. I found it yesterday with the K18+.. it does take a little tweaking to get the hang of it and what the bars and vibrations mean.. I suggest trying it on a item that you are already using, then moving back and forth and away, so you understand what the beeps and lights lighting up do before jumping right into looking for something hidden. But great product after understanding how to use it. The red light really helps for detection as well!!! ... show more

  • It really works well
I cant wait to take my K18+ traveling. I purchased it mainly for one specific task. But after it performed so well I ran it through a number of test and it passed with top scores. The initial reason I bought it was to find a Lojack unit on my truck. I had Lojack installed on my truck about 20 years ago. Since then Lojack has been sold at least twice maybe three times. After 20 years one of the two key fobs has stopped working. Without the key fob all the lights blink on and off (all lights) non-stop and the police show up at my door wanting to know why my Lojack is notifying them that my truck is in my garage. To say the least I need to get this piece of crap off my truck. Well Lojack will not tell me where the unit is hidden and they dont support my model anymore. I have been tearing my hair out for three years trying to find it. Then just a couple of weeks ago it dawned on me. This thing is generating a radio frequency. I looked up the Lojack frequency (173 MHz). Turns out the band width on the K18+ is 1MHz through 3000 MHz. So I ordered it, got it the next day and within ten minutes I located the Lojack unit. So take that Lojack. I will never buy a vehicle that has lojack in it. The way that they have treated me over the past 3 years just isn't right. So long story short-- BUY THE K18+ it really works as long as you take a few minutes to read and understand the best use practices. ... show more

  • A++ quality product
This compact device tracker not only met my expectations based off of the manufacturers claims but actually exceeded it to a degree. I am very happy with the results and will continue to use this product whenever it becomes necessary. I highly recommend it.

  • Cannot Tell if it Works - Might be the End of me . . .
First off, I'm going to say that the local POLICE told me to buy myself a scanner since they themselves DO NOT own such equipment. I had an unnerving instance where a random stranger entered my house one night and turned on the light in front of our bedroom, accessed an account on our TV then left. (He/she wanted us to know they had entered), but our $10,000 worth of gemstones by the door were not touched. Just the week prior they had flown a drone over my house and sat there staring at me for 15 minutes when I walked out and heard it. I live in the country, so it's VERY uncommon for that sort of thing (either thing) to happen. I knew they must have some sort of spy equipment in my house because the night they entered the dogs had all been locked in their dog room (sometimes they are left out in the living room). I'm going to warn you . . . this is going to put you into the looney bin trying to use this thing. It was going off EVERYWHERE you'd expect it to. The living room. The picture on the wall. The deer head. The ceiling fan. it did NOT go off in my son's room, his bathroom, or our second living room we rarely use and is next to our main living area. It DID go off on our bed frame. SADLY, I could find NOTHING. Which ONLY made things WORSE. Furthermore, it was not consistent. Here's the problem . . . after researching online, I found that newer, sophisticated bug devices can detect detectors and shut off signals. So you might catch it, but it could disappear. Others are limited transmission, only sending out signals at certain intervals. AND others are limited on battery power, so might only transmit for a week and then dead. Some can tap into your wifi, and others are on a 4G plan. Some are battery powered and some direct into your main power system. As others mentioned, the magnetic detector only works within 1 inch of said object, which is fine for stuffing down holes you cannot reach into, but not much else. I'd also suggest downlaoding an EMF detector on your phone (for free). That works about as effectively and detects different magnetic radio frequencies. Hopefully I don't end up as a news story . . . but if I do, blame this detector and local law enforcement. (I don't have any enemies, but I am a YouTuber, fwiw) ... show more

  • Easy to use. Worth the money
I'm traveling around 100 days out of the year for work and one night I fell into a rabbit hole and was watching a video. The video claimed that many hotel rooms are bugged with microphones or cameras. I immediately felt uncomfortable. So I started to do some research and read some reviews. I ended up choosing this device. I couldn't wait to use it. On the seventh stay I got to my room and started scanning the room and low and behold I received a signal on the LED screen. I found a very small camera attached on the top of a painting. I was shocked. Since then I have found several devices. I recommend this device if you travel or rent out homes. ... show more
