The unit is OK to warm water as long as the flow is low. If you draw a lot of water out of your faucet too quickly, the water will not get warmed sufficiently by this unit. If you draw a very low flow of water, the unit will warm water to something more comfortable than cold. OK for hand washing but certainly not for heating water at a sink. Replaced a unit which was no longer working well. This is tankless, so no energy consumption until there is flow. You should install as close to faucet as possible. This is handwashing only, max temp is about 37'C. Super easy to install, and it looks good. Convenient with a plug, or you can hard wire. The digital display of temp is very helpful, since you may have to limit water flow in order to get good temperature. You can throttle the water back and the display temp immediately increases. When we first installed, with a 1.8gpm aerator, the heater could not keep up. I just ordered a 1.2gpm aerator and we'll see how that works. Of course temp of incoming water matters too. For the price, this is a fantastic little unit. I might look for a 5000W model next time. ... show more

This water heater is a power house! It was very easy to instal. Literally plug and play. I have installed five tankless water heaters, and this was by far the easiest. I highly recommend this tankless electric water heater! I liked heated my shower up right away! I like how this unit heats up instantly, and runs consistently warm water throughout use, and how it shuts itself off after you turn the water off. I bought the mini tankless water heater to go under the kitchen sink. The kitchen sink is a long way from the house hot water tank. You must run the hot water for half a minute or longer to get hot water. I thought the mini water heater under the sink would save water and get hot water faster. It was easy to install, but once installed the digital readout circled and water didn't heat. I tried unplugging and replugging the unit multiple times. Nothing. The instructions are minimal and offer no help. I found nothing on You Tube or Google to help. Now the unit has completely stopped. The digital light is even circling anymore. Probably should have spent more to get a better unit with more useful instruction manual. ... show more
