Bought two, one for each of my 13 year old twin girls. Heartily recommend. Arrived very quickly and very well packaged. All parts clearly labeled, complete, and in good shape. Instructions were easy to read, and clear. The entire thing took a bit to put together, but very little compared to other items of similar size and complexity. The entire thing is quite sturdy, and well designed. Having said that, it is both lightweight and tall so it "wobbles" when someone is moving around on it. Not enough to cause any fear that it might fall over. This isn't significant enough to make the twins uncomfortable, but I can see how it might be scary for some people and I did decide to use the included anchors though I don't think they are necessary unless people are being stupid and literally pulling the bed over. End of the day, the room is much, much "larger" for them now, and each of them has their own space. They each have a computer desk and chair plus a small reading / sitting chair underneath with plenty of room to use them (actually, one has a chair the other has a bean-bag). Very good bed. My mother and I put the bed together in just a few hours. Everything was labeled, it came with wrenches, and was worth the money. I am 5’9” and I cannot stand upright under it without hunching a little. But I can easily lower my head to get under where I set up my desk. Having this loft bed gave me a ton of space in my room. The sturdiness is pretty good. I had never had a loft bed before so I was concerned about plummeting to my demise in the middle of the night, but I obviously survived. It wobbles a bit and sometimes makes creaky sounds that make me fear for my life, but everything ends up fine. I’m just paranoid. The guard rails are high enough to keep me and my pillows on the bed. The ladder could probably use some grip tape because if you try to climb it while wearing socks you’ll notice how slippery it gets. In summary, this is a great bed and I definitely recommend buying it. ... show more

I’d say 3.5 stars. The quality of the material is good, but they’re pretty wobbly. If the beds were braced better and if the bottom portions on the frame was a thicker metal, I think they’d be much more stable. Look for something else if you’re considering these.

I bought this bed to surprise my niece with a room renovation while she was out of town. Took a couple of hours to put together (as expected) but was overall pretty easy to assemble. I wish it was a little more Sturdy but considering most likely only one person will be sleeping on top I feel like it will work just fine. Also, very happy there were different options for the ladder location as we specifically needed it to be in a certain spot. Also wanted to note that it is a beautiful cream color which is exactly what we wanted. Very happy with our purchase. ... show more

Very wobbly, sturdy/solid material but moves SO much when climbing in and out of bed & when repositioning in bed (cant bolt it to my rental wall) this also causes a lot of noise. Its loud like another reviewer wrote. Also the ladder part to climb IS painful on the feet (again another review can confirm). Very dark under there, I recommend some sort of extra lighting. …but its cute, gives the extra space needed. Does the job but i don’t know if I would recommend it. Took 2.5 hours to build. Easy to follow instructions. Extremely heavy delivery (sorry to the delivery guy) *Desk, chair, lights and bookshelf not included* ... show more

My daughter is a large 9 year old and I was worried this wouldn't be sturdy enough, but it is! It also looks very high end, and clean. Easy to put together, and tall enough for my daughter to play underneath. Very happy with this bed.

The direction were difficult to understand but he finished product has been amazing! 😍 I've had it for about 2 months and it's held up well. I wasn't sure it could stand up to our rough and tough family but it has. It moves a little but it's surprisingly quiet and very sturdy in my opinion. I would definitely buy it again. And best part is I can put a twin perfectly under it or a queen sticking out. That is a huge bonus for us and we downsized to a smaller place, but am happy to say this allowed us to still have our own spaces. The only drawback is that it's a little taller than I expected but it's still perfect for sleeping and plenty of space for a TV or entertainment area and a great place to put your toy storage too! ... show more

It’s really sturdy and can definitely support adults so long as you’re within the weight tolerance. But it is painful on the feet to climb up the ladder since the rod is so skinny (honestly it feels like walking on the edge of a knife) and it doesn’t help having to use your arm muscles to hurl your heavy ass over the rail WHEN THERE SHOULD BE AN OPENING CUT OUT FOR YOU TO EASILY SLIDE THROUGH. If you’re not careful on climbing over the rail, you can slip and hurt yourself. Also, it kinda scares me to hear the bed squeaking when I fall onto it a little too aggressively… actually the bed squeaks all the time so nevermind. When assembling this bed, you should put some padding over the ladder rods to reduce foot pain when climbing and some on the bottom of the legs cuz they will scratch your floors or leave indentations ... show more
