I ordered this comforter in red and teal for my kids. A few months ago we moved to a northern climate where we will get snow and ice, and right now the temps are in the 50s. Where we previously lived, 50s was full winter so we never needed heavy or warm bedding and my kids typically sleep with a thin quilt. I thought this would be great to keep my girls warm before its time for flannel sheets, but also will be nice for layering with another cosy blanket if they decide they aren't warm enough. It felt really light once we got it out of the vacuum sealed back. Followed suggestions in previous reviews about throwing it in the dryer for a few to fluff it up. Worked like a charm. Used it for the first time last night. It's super warm! Very nice blanket. Very happy with the purchase.

Very nice comforter, I was worried when the box showed up because the box was so small. It was vacuum sealed. I cut open the bag and it expanded into a beautiful comforter. This comforter is lightweight but still keeps you warm and isn't that heavy to make you sweat too much. It is a perfect balance. The one thing that took me by surprise is how soft the comforter is. I was skeptical at first since I ordered a California king and it came in a very small box but it was just vacuum sealed. I let it rise for a couple hours then through it in the dryer. It is the perfect weight and comfort. It’s not too heavy but also not too light.
