This is a lightweight comforter that moves with you. It's washable. It's medium weight. In cold climates, use a blanket with it in winter. It's made of polyester. I have mixed feelings about that material but chose this because it is very comfortable for sleep, much more so than natural wool or down blankets which are heavy and hot and expensive to clean. This one you can throw in the wash. The fill is not bunchy. Compared to a similar polyester comforter bought in person at a retail store, it is better quality because it is flatter, less heavy and less bulky, with same level of warmth/cooling. ... show more

I got a king size in white, looks just like the photo. It truly is lightweight, which my guy loves since he's a hot sleeper. But I'm usually cold and require extra blankets, but this is the perfect fit for both our temps! We live in Northern CO, so it can get pretty cold here (sometimes double digits in the negatives). But it's seriously a gamechanger, now I can just buy different duvet covers when I want to change up the look in our room - I don't think we're going to need to swap it out over the summer with how lightweight it is either, but we'll see. I've also washed it twice now and it washes like any other lightweight blanket. I didn't have to dry it twice, or anything special. It's also pretty soft, no itchiness whatsoever. I was looking for something inexpensive that was comfortable and warm and this fit the bill. The biggest disappointment is that the description stated "whole-piece filling, light-weight and well-distributed, without any concern for clumping." However the filling was bunched up after the first washing (washed in cold water, died on low heat) as you can see in the attached photos. There are "balls" of filling even in some of the squares but it's worse in the corners. The other disappointment was that the turquoise color was much brighter than represented in the photo. For some reason even my own photographs don't represent the color as the bright turquoise it actually is. There's a 90-day satisfaction guarantee but it does provide the warmth and comfort that I need so I'm going to keep this one and keep looking for one that is more certain not to clump. ... show more

Not only was the color completely different than the picture, which also made me angry because I picked the color to match curtains I already have, but it is super thin.
