I cannot believe how nice this bed actually is for the price. The hardware and construction are quality. I would easily pay $700 for this bed in a store. I have a 14" mattress, with a small cover, and it sits 24" off of the ground. I ordered the king size frame it is fits just fine in my narrow bedroom (11.2' wide). I would say the color is similar to the brighter red on a dark cherry. It is not burgundy. In standard light (lamps and overhead light), it is a deeper red. In the direct sunlight, it appears to be more on the pink side (still appearing red). I have included photos to help you better visualize the color and construction of the bed. ... show more

Very easy to assemble, I did it by myself in just under 2 hours per bed. LOVE the color! Very sturdy. 4 stars because one set came with different versions of the bed, one box was version 6.1 and the other box was version 6.0. No difference in color but parts were missing. They were also delivered 2 days apart, even though they were in the same tracking number. I’m waiting for the company to deliver the extra part so I can actually sleep in the bed. Star rating could drop if the part is not delivered in a timely manner. The headboard has Velcro on the back where a compartment stores all the hardware delivered with it and the Velcro is stapled on and not very well, that’s an easy fix though. I am a small woman, and I assembled this by myself. It took a little longer, would have been better with help, but glad it was doable on my own. Decent directions, and all the tools needed are provided except the screw driver for the slats, which I used my electric drill for. I have a 10 inch memory foam mattress and a 4 inch topper , making a 14" height off the slats. I think it is the perfect height. The color is a brilliant red burgundy, just the splash of color I need. I live the high headboard, although I'll have to move my painting, it's worth it for this bed. A new bedding set is under the tree, I thought the color would make it harder to shop for one, but just the opposite, so many options would have been perfect! For now, I have some colorful throws, and even that I don't hate. It just makes the room more fun. The bed is sturdy, it's a king, but still, not rickety at all. First off, let me just say this is an AWESOME PRODUCT. I paid $150 for this bed (king) plus $55 shipping. This bed could easily go for about $500 or $600...if not more. I ordered the bed on July 4th with an estimated delivery date between July 10-14. I received it on July 11th. Honestly, I didn't think it would come so soon especially since it took a few days for my package to actually be shipped. The bed came in 2 separate boxes (despite the FedEx tracking saying 1 box) but I received both boxes on the same day. If you live in an apartment complex like I do, I suggest you make arrangements with your complex and FedEx so your package can be taken into your apartment. If not, it'll probably be a struggle. (This was very critical for me since I live on the forth floor and my leasing office is in the building down the street). The instructions for the bed are easy and straight forward. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to put it together by myself. All the tools you need are included with the exception of a screwdriver (which I highly recommend a power screwdriver for screwing in the slats). However, a regular screwdriver will suffice. As far as the color is concerned, it's not Cardinal Red...in my opinion, it's more of a Ruby Red. Good quality and sturdy. I was very skeptical about buying this bed even after reading all the wonderful (verified purchase) reviews. I'm no longer a skeptic though. ... show more

Like everything about the design But i read a review about finding bed bugs and ignored it ,i wish I didn’t when u used it i felt something bites me here and there but after a while it got worse and I keep looking for bugs in my homein the bed and mattress nothing but one day I decides to look deep in the headboard and OMG i found bugs bugs bugs hidden in corners in the head bord I throw it and the mattress immediately and i was just move and bought everything new in my house and immediately i give notice to our building management they search the house before call the bugs company they didn’t found anything but they call anyway bcz we tell them we found bugs in the bed and we thought it immediately I demand refund And I really tell now like the design ... show more

Was VERY upset because I ordered this bed on eBay and the seller took my 💰 💰 and no product. Found it on Amazon for cheaper, fast delivery and NO PROBLEMS! This bed is easy to put together, I did it mostly myself in a couple hours with back problems. VERY sturdy, I have a vibrating adjustable bed that easily weighs well over 200lbs (took 3 people to move it) and no problems, no creeks, nothing. Buy it! ... show more
