  • Perfect for Surfboards
Size: Use with Roof Rack (With Straps)
We recently just got a Navigator and needed something to handle my 9’8” surfboards when heading down to the local beach (50 mins away). This rack was a perfect solution! Takes about 20mins to add the soft rack to your existing rail system and strap down your favorite boards. Very sturdy and there is plenty of strap to tie down multiple boards. Tip: tie down the excess as the strap beating agains the vehicle the duration of your trip will drve you insane! ... show more

  • Easy to install, works perfectly for me
Size: Use Without Roof Rack (With Straps)
I purchased this to go on the roof of my 2015 Honda Civic as I did not want to put a hard rack on my roof. I have a 8 foot kayak that weighs 37lbs and I wanted something so I could take the kayak out by myself. I’m a 67-year-old woman and this was perfect for me. The roof rack is extremely easy to install, and it came with all the necessary straps and tiedowns. I particularly like the T handled straps that go under the hood and under the trunk to help tie down the front and back of the kayak. I can install the whole roof system in less than 15 minutes, add about 15 more minutes to get my kayak, loaded and tied down. I also appreciate the padding of the rack system, which protects my cars paint. I’ve use this 4 time since I purchased it, and it gets easier to put on every time. I’ve also traveled 40 miles at highway speeds of 55 to 60 mph with no problem. I have kayak buddies who were very impressed with the system and looking to purchase as well. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Great purchase; Buy it!!
Size: Use Without Roof Rack (With Straps)
So excited this worked great and was very easy to assemble by myself. Strong padding and straps that keeps the car protected. Clear, simple instructions and fits into an small storage bag! So pleased I now have a "roof rack" option for my vehicle. Will update if things change but quality stitching and tie downs seem like they will hold up. ... show more

  • Purchased 2!
Size: Use Without Roof Rack (With Straps)
Great product for price! Easy to install and put away. Holds my foam board perfectly safe at freeway speeds. Be careful not to over tighten strap as loops attaching to foam rack can have seams pop a little. Even with one loop kinda torn though it was working just fine. Lost first one as it was damaged in car accident but liked it enough to purchase again. ... show more

  • Excellent pads
Size: Use with Roof Rack (With Straps)
I just got these and put them on my aftermarket surf racks to pad my surfboard. I have 9'8 board and a 9 ft 2 in board. I had the round pads before which worked well for a while but wore out. So I took a chance with these and these are far superior to my old ones. They fit perfectly with my cross bars and snugly with velcro closures and locking plastic connectors. They are nice and flat but provide a lot of cushion. Very stable. It comes with other parts I don't need like two very long straps and other straps for a kayak ETC. I used it yesterday and I'm very very happy with this purchase I would definitely recommend this product for anybody that has a need for surfboard pads. ... show more

  • Perfect for my kayak
Size: Use with Roof Rack (With Straps)
These are excellent tie down straps for my solo kayak on my roof rack. The pads are a good size and easily attach to my cross bars, and have plenty of padding to support my kayak. The straps seem durable and are long enough to properly secure the kayak to the roof rack. Bonus points for not being ratchet tie downs, as I’ve been told these can potentially damage your kayak. The bow and stern tie downs seemed sufficient for securing the kayak, as well. I also liked the bag to properly store everything when not being used. I’ve put a lot of miles on my Bronco with my Eddyline kayak on top, and I’ve had zero issues with the HeyTrip roof rack system. ... show more

  • Durable paddleboard pads and straps. Velcro is backwards.
Size: Use with Roof Rack (With Straps)
The material used for the pads is excellent and seems to be very durable. . Almost a heavy canvas like material. There are clips at both ends of the pads to ensure that the pads never accidentally fall off while driving. The tie down straps included are much wider and heavier than I thought they would be. They seem very strong. The only thing that I would like improved is the Velcro attachment underneath the pads is facing the wrong direction and it catches wind dirt and bugs as it goes down the road. Easy solution is to put the pads on backwards so that the writing is facing backwards. But then it looks awkward. The backwards velcro enclosure is the reason why I did not give a five-star rating. ... show more

  • Not what I expected and I'm glad
Size: Use Without Roof Rack (With Straps)
Honestly these weren't what I expected and was pretty frustrated at first. After getting past my own ego and realizing that no matter what kind of rack I have that it'll be a pain in the ass getting two kayaks strapped down securely. I even went the extra step to ratchet down the kayaks along with the straps included. Several trips later and I've got these bad boys down to a T. These are easy and quick to strap to the car. Once the rocket science is put to the side then the whole process is a breeze. I was about to send them back until I realized I made the entire trip without a kayak flying down the road and 0 scratched on my roof. I also like to find the lazy way out, so everything that is sent in this package makes life 10x easier when you don't have a convenient rack to slide kayaks into. If you need to get a setup more like this then don't hesitate and just click the buy button. It's the most affordable for what you get, so I'm talking to those penny pinching researchers in the back as well. Life isn't easy so they take a couple of times getting used to, but it's smooth sailing after you find your groove. ... show more
