Looks great but not the performance as I expected. I can’t even play music, it speeds up and slows down on its own. I tried adjusting but nothing works. When I try to scratch sometimes I can stop the music by pulling the vinyl back and sometimes the music still plays even with me holding the vinyl. I don’t know what’s up with it. I had high hopes just to be let down. I’ll tried for hours figure these quirks out but this should have worked right out of the box. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This "Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7" has EVERYTHING one would want in a DJ/mixing system, and more, which I'll specify further on in the review. First, the packaging is outstanding, the set comes with the "Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7" unit, two little vinyl records and pads to put on the little turntables, a USB cable for connecting to your PC to use the software, and a separate power supply. The instructions are clear and straight-forward, everything needed software-wise is clearly specified with links for downloading, and searching youtube results in finding several good tutorials by people who have this item and are very well-versed in getting the most from it. So it's not overwhelming at all for a motivated, computer-literate beginner, yet has features and functions that will not only satisfy but impress experienced professionals. Everything on the "Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7" is laid out logically and ergonomically - the plethora of controls covers a broad spectrum of what one wants and needs in a quality, high-performance DJ/mixing board. Now here's the "cherry on top" of this great product - the audio processing capabilities of the hardware and software are amazing and the speed and fluidity of the functions when connected to a capable laptop or PC is seamlessly fluid. One can automatically isolate out voices and sounds, add other voices and sounds, manipulate different segments of audio, etc., which are useful for making mixes and beats, and other purposes, like bringing up un-noticed background dialogue or noises in recordings, cleaning and filtering for clarity or enhancement, etc. This is extremely impressive! The "Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7" successfully combines massive amounts of powerful, advanced audio editing and mixing capabilities, great high-fidelity super-clean and crisp output, plays not only through various speaker outputs (including RCA, XLR and standard headphone) and inputs, but can also play and record sound through your PC speakers/headphones and mic in addition to of course transferring sound files through the mixing unit. The sky's the limit with this unit, it's not only excellent technologically and ergonomically as described, but it's massively fun to use, with impressive results obtainable quite easily after a bit of practice and familiarity with the software. Thanks to "Hercules" for spending the time and effort to design and produce such an awesome product!     • THE BEST INTERMEDIATE Controller of all time, only some flaws
I have used tons of mixers. This one is the one I wish I bought and ignored all the other ones. This is a phenomenal intermediate speaker. Most entry speakers cost 200-300 and high ends cost 1500-2000. This is the perfect middle one that gives you all the greatness of vinyl with the simplistic feel of the entry speakers. It has two motorized platters with smaller vinyls. You can get that I'm a DJ feeling of using real vinyl that you can swap and use any of your smaller vinyls or custom ones for your branding. The 8 Cue buttons are the best, they are colorized and feel fantastic these are way better than Pioneer Rev 1. The included stems for instrumental and vocal buttons on serato is amazing and seamless (allowing for ultimate song mashing). Also, the browser knobs feel amazing. The throttles for FX is top notch you can feel like a battle dj. The long Pitch fader gives that pro vibes. It allows you to connect to a mic (but the mic is directly into the mixer it won't output to your computer if you are trying to livestream stream. It has XLR outputs and regular audio outs. The cue buttons feel like technics and the autoloop is an awesome function. Overall it's a fantastic mixer that Hercules absolutely nails. I would recommend this for any intermediately and beginning dj. It also has beat align and pitch align to support folks who are still learning manual DJING. But these features are easily ignored for the seasoned DJ. It also has a built-in-stand to make it higher and avoid liquid spills. Some cons - it doesn't come with Serato DJ Pro, only lite. It does come with DJJUCED which is hercules software and the cross faders don't seem like they are for scratch dj's who will abuse it. Overall this is perfect for 98% of users! ... show more
