I usually bring a bag of "fixers" to shows; things like 1/4-to-XLR, Pin1-lifters, level-pads, gender-changers, and the like. I've used a lot, and while these ones are ok, they don't impress. The barrel contact surfaces aren't ground flat or polished smooth, so sliding doesn't feel great. Excessive force is sometimes required to not only insert or remove them, but often to get them to latch. There is extraneous metal flashing along the line where the halves of the molds met during production. Overall the metalwork quality is noticeably lower than what I have come to expect from the adapters and turnarounds that I carry. ... show more

All of them definitely convey the feeling that they’ll last longer than you’ll ever need them. The connections are very tight. It takes a good push to latch them, and a correspondingly strong pull to disconnect them. That’s probably a good thing, considering their intended use.
