I go to the race track and sleep either in my trailer or in my vehicle. I just purchased a Ford E350 and wanted to put a bed in and be able to store items under the bed. I looked at e and x track and was not sure of the holding and the cost. My tires are just under 12 inches wide so they will fit under the bed. The frame will get a 1/4 inch sheet of plywood over the slats or I might put a foam mattress over it but the initial test with a thin 4 inch mattress of a lawn chair was okay. I put it together in the van in less than an hour. The bolts and nuts come packed to cardboard and all the parts were labeled clearly. Zero issues with assembly. I might cut the legs down a few inches as this might be a bit high for my needs but I wanted the full sized frame versus a twin or queen. Very happy with my purchase! ... show more

Only thing I can say is that a head board is needed because my pillows fall through the crack between the head board and the frame. This was a snap to set up: I didn't even use the instructions. They threw in extra screws, which was nice, but you will probably need a rachet drive set to install two bolts. I just purchased a set the other day, and it was less than 15 dollars. The frame is built very good, and all the metal slats fit snugly right in place. I did get all the parts. Plus 1 extra that I have no idea what it was for. Took me a little more time than most people. I had some trouble holding 1 part to another, while screwing one end in holding the Allen wrench etc. Just make sure when you are ready to start, set it up so the areas where the slats go are correct. I purchased this frame needing it for my new mattress without a box spring. I read the reviews and the price was good, so I gave it a try. My oldest son also needed one so I purchased 2 at the same time. My son who is 6 foot tall likes the frame. Being that tall he was worried about his feet hanging over. I can honestly say they do not. He has shoes and other things for storage under it also. I have put Christmas boxes and storage containers under the bed also. The frames have held up nicely.
