The brushes that come standard with the unit are ad adequate but seem to wear down even after the first use. The cleaning results are apparent but I believe the stainless steel brushes may be more effective and wear better: Stay tuned!😎

It did a good job on my porcelain grates, but after 4 uses the switch malfunctions and 1 brush doesn't turn. It says there is a quick release to remove the brushes. To say it's difficult to remove them is an understatement but if you do it like they recommend they will eventually come off. After contacting customer service they sent me a new motor. Customer Service rep (Kelly) treated me like a real person rather than a number. Amended review - Let me say that when I used it first time I was amazed with the results! My 6 yr old pellet grill/smoker has porcelain grates with a diamond hatch pattern so I was surprised at the job it did. If you want the underside cleaned just flip them over and run it again. My daughter was so impressed she ordered one. All the friends I showed the results to had the same response. WOW! ! I do recommend this product! Great company support! ... show more

    • Disillusioned!
Used my Grillbot one time and attempted to recharge. Grillbot wouldn’t take a charge so assuming perhaps I needed a new charger, I bought a replacement. Grillbot STILL will not take a charge. I’m totally baffled as to why. It has been allowed to get wet, no excessive heat, nothing to damage the machine. Heck, the brushes are barely soiled after one use. —11/1/23 I received a reply from a Grillbot rep. So after purchasing a replacement charging cord (I have 2 now!) and engaging in a silly debate as to what we call these cords AND attempting every possible remedy supplied by the rep I still have a non-functioning Grillbot machine. OH, and the final remedy was to offer me ANOTHER CORD! Purchase at your own risk! It worked GREAT, once!! -UPDATE 11/17/23 The problem with my GrillBot grill cleaning robot has been SUCCESSFULLY resolved by the folks at Grillbot. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I grill out quite often. This little robot does a fantastic job cleaning up a neglected grill service; even better when used soon after cooking out as one should. The machine has come in quite handy! Hiccups happen in production occasionally but the GrillBot folks VERY successfully backed up their product in the end.     • How to get grillbot to work?
When the grillbot was used for the first time on 4/7/24 it worked great, went to use it this last weekend and it wouldn't charge. Tried plugging it in to be charged and it would always stop after a few seconds. Would like to use it again but not sure what should be done.
