This thing rocks! It is light weight portable easy as sin to set up and use. It is so versatile it can be used anywhere and the included carrying case is great. Yes the case is not heavy duty but why would it need to be? I have never cooked with gas before and was highly impressed with the heat output. I have used this burner about 10-12 times already and am still on the first small propane bottle!?! The burner itself is very light weight but seems very sturdy and well built. It works great, I took it camping and I was able to warm up food on it and cook. The flame was really good because you can increase it or decrease it as needed. Easy to instal the bottle of propane and easy to use. I totally recommend it.

Stable, great variable heat and nice case. Simple to use, single butane will make enough coffee for a weekend. (would definitely want more butane if preparing food) Propane option allows for longer cooking times.

I use this burner to roast coffee. Stamped metal is thin but doesn't detract from proper function. Actual burner and pot supports are well made and hold a 5 pound pot securely. Plan on utilizing some type of wihd screen when outdoors. Flame is susceptible to even light breezes. Would by again.

I was hesitating if to buy it initially, and fortunately, I decided to give it a try. It is a real GEM. First of all, it comes in its own plastic case so it is very easy to transport, and I always keep it in my car, just in case! When we go to outdoors, we often buy a big sandwich from Subway. But by the time of the lunch it becomes sad and cold. So I take my stove and GRILL the sandwiches on it. It is a 5 minutes thing, easy peasy, but the lunch is delicious and hot. I bought an additional plate to use with the stove. I believe it is Korean, and you can cook veggies or grill sandwiches on it. See it in one of my reviews. Very useful, easy to clean, big enough for 2 people.,. and more than that - it FITS perfectly on this very stove. So buy them together. Enjoy your outdoors!!! ... show more

I didn't want to fill up the large tank on my old motor home but I also wanted my morning and evening tea so I thought I'd give this one a try. It was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition. Opening the box there is a light weight plastic box with latches that contained the stove. I'd already seen some reviews so I knew the hose was underneath the cover on top. Got it out, connected it and checked with some soapy water, no leaks so I screwed the small gas container on, opened up the valve, clicked the switch and it fired right up. Put it in my RV and used it for real a couple days later. No issues, put an old school tea pot on it and within a short period of time the whistle told me it was ready to pour. The oven is lightweight, but I don't think that equates to cheaply made. Certainly its not made to be tossed around and the lid that encloses the butane tank area is light and would be easy to bend but if you're not overly aggressive with it, this thing should last you a good long time. I wouldn't call this a backpack stove, but it is light and if your pack was big enough it would work. I'll be using it all next week as well and if anything changes I'll come back, but so far it gets 5 stars from me. No complaints and no issues. ... show more

Was looking for a single burner stove mostly for making coffee this one is easy to use works great and comes with a storage case packs up pretty small also would be good for heating up canned soup / stew in small pot or cooking a small one pot meal keep in my truck toolbox I use the propane bottles
