I had been eyeing Granitestone cookware for a few years from TV commercials. When my old cookware set's non-stick surface began to flake off, this was the time to get a replacement set. They came well packed although the large pot and the small skillet did have slight nicks on the rims, but not enough for me to return the set. We'll see how they hold up, with the nicks, over time. The hammered black exteriors with the gold-colored lids are an elegant look. I chose Granitestone based on the positive reviews and value price. Again, time will tell how well the non-stick holds up. The aluminum pans are lightweight and for the few times I've used them so far, the non-stick claims are true. Scrambled eggs and fish filets did not stick even with no spray or oil in the skillet. They easily washed up in my sink. Even though most all cooksets, including this one, say they are dishwasher safe, the harsh chemicals in dishwasher pods have always pitted or discolored my past cookware so I don't put them in a dishwasher. These are so pretty, I don't want to ruin them. Being of a lower price than my last set was, I'm hoping I will get a decent amount of years worth of use with this Granitestone set. ... show more

    • These are listed incorrectly
The post states that these are ceramic non stick. They are not. They are aluminum pans and they are too expensive for aluminum. I definitely sent them back. They are poorly made and cheap looking.

I really liked these pots and pans but, after only 2 uses, the 10.5" pan has bowed in the middle. I've sent a warranty request to the company, so we'll see how support is. I'll update my review as needed. Well, the small frying pan has also bowed in the middle. Well, the hits keep coming. Company is out of the 10.5" pan AND the 7" pan as well. They have offered me alternative sizes to their credit. But the utensils are worthless. I may just need to get a refund and look elsewhere. Granitestone has sent me a completely new set to replace this one. Although I'm not a "If you don't like it, we'll give you another one for free" person, I have to give credit where credit is due. No hassle, no conflict. Just a solid standing behind their product. That alone is worth 4 stars at least. ... show more
