It is so comfortable! The laces are for show. It has two snaps that are strong and efficient. It is not tight. It doesn’t bulge on the waist. It is easy to wear. And COMFORTABLE! I got this one and a brown Lacy one. I have a hard time finding things to fit my waist AND my hips and chest. I’m a 34D and petite. I’ve been ordering sizes up in my dresses and just putting this belt on! So much better than squeezing into something just so it won’t gape at my waist

It's definitely more for looks. It's not going to hold your stomach in. The buttons in the back doesn't have a strong clasp so it can be taken off easily. It looks nice though.

Very pleased with this purchase, made for attending a Renn Fair. I wore it over a short-sleeved eyelet lace top and a black skirt for the perfect "wench" look. I was worried that it would be uncomfortable but it's very elastic and didn't bother me at all.

I ended up having to superglue the buttons shut and lacing it in the front. The brown one is less stretchy than the black or white one. I wore it for a renn faire costume and it was very cute, but I wish I got a bigger size. I got a medium and I am 145 lbs, 5’3”.
