I've had several occasion when a panel removal kit would have come in handy, but those occasions have been spread out over many years. I have had to improvise just because I didn't want to buy something I rarely used. This time the panel I wanted to remove was very flimsy and started to break apart. After realizing I would have to remove the panel at least two more time, I decided to get the proper tool for the proper job. This 5 piece panel removal tool was perfect for me. Inexpensive, multiple tolls and included the right tools for my job. I was able to remove the panel without any further damage to the panel. I also replace an air vent that had been broken for years and I couldn't improvise anything that would help me remove the vent. This is a nice set for the casual user. Not Snap on quality, but they’re less than a tenth of the cost as well. Worked fine for the limited jobs I’ve used them on. If you’re looking for something for everyday use, perhaps these are not for you, but for a couple times a year, these are great.

These little tools did the job. Had to remove the trim around the door on my 2008 Mustang. They are a little better built than I expected for the price.

So far I've only used one of these tools. I thought they were metal by looking at the picture, but I was mistaken. Only one is partly metal. The one I used was for removing plastic cliffs from my Chevy Trax. It was much easier using this than using a screwdriver. The tool does not seem to have suffered any damage, so I think it's tough enough for removing these plastic pieces. And that's all it really needs to do. ... show more

Great value on what appears to be a sturdy set of tools. I will be using them for door panel removal on an older Porsche that I doing some restoration work on. I like that are made of heavyweight synthetics that are less likely to scratch surfaces, when compared to metal ones!

    • Plastic will break under pressure
Color: Black
Although I understand the tools are plastic, the smallest tool broke as soon as I went to take apart my dash. The piece broke off and is now lost in the abyss behind my radio. Not good quality plastic as I did not use much force to start. Luckily the other tools were able to do the job.
