I would give this a 4 because although it is so beautiful it is a little more difficult to get it right. If it is scraped the finish gets messed up, if you rub it more than one time it gets a dark mark. Also put it down right the first time because it can get ripped if not super careful to unstick/restick. I saw mixed reviews for this but thought I’d give it a try. I have to say that I’m really pleased with the finished look! I would recommend that you cut it to size before applying it because hand carving it was very time consuming, but if you enjoy putting in some work it’s fun. This is the WORST. I purchased it for walls and wasted so much time and sanity. My fault since I just kept trying to be optimistic. It's so thin it folds on itself too easy and you can't undo that. What I liked about this product was the glitter however this paper is not very durable and it rips easy so be careful when smoothing it out onto your wall or if you are furniture repurposing project also it did not stick to the top of the side table that I am repurposing for my bedside however it stuck to the wall so if you're looking to put it on a wall it will hold however it's just not good for furniture in my opinion application is easy it is a beautiful glitter pattern which shines the paper was affordable and arrived as shown I actually purchased a second one because I like the glitter on it so much I plan on putting it on my wall in the new apartment when we move as a backsplash to protect my wall from scratches that normally happen in a kitchen. ... show more

The "black" is more like a dark dray or pewter, so it didn't quite match with the project I was trying to use it for. Additionally, it was VERY thin. It ripped within 60 seconds of me placing something on top of it (I was trying to cover the top of a cheap cube storage unit). Lastly, the adhesive is not strong at all. On the plus side, the lack of adhesiveness made it really easy to work with and reposition, and there was almost no bubbling upon application. If you are looking for a contact paper that is relatively temporary and you are going to put it on a surface that isn't used/touched often, it might work alright. There is nothing “peel and stick” about this product. I’ve bought a bunch of different removable wallpapers recently, and this one is the worst. It is thin and flimsy to work with, so it bubbles/creases easily, and then it is impossible to remove. It tears with every pull. Into tiny little shreds.
