It took my friend and I about 2 hours to put together (we were playing around in between assembling). No extra tools required, instructions were clear. The table isn’t the most sturdy, but for an affordable apartment table, it does the trick. The chairs are solid and can seat a 225 pound man semi comfortably; I recommend adding light cushions to the chairs and bench for extra style and comfort. It would be tight if 4 people really were to sit at this table and all eat a meal together, but for 2 people, it’s perfect. The additional storage is great. But overall, I have no complaints about the table! Love the look of it, and it’s gotten lots of compliments. ... show more

purchased this for small apartment. perfect. very, very sturdy. constructed well. well packed with Styrofoam sheets, and plastic sleeves, hardware sealed on cardboard. all parts labeled and well identified. good instructions.
