I got this kit for my daughter for her sixth birthday and I was really impressed by the quality of items and the amount of things it came with. She absolutely loved it and is already having fun decorating and writing in the pages. The amount of items included in this kit make it a great value and it was honestly so much nicer than I was expecting for the price. The variety of items included in this kit make it possible to use the journal any way you'd like. My daughter mostly uses it as an art set, decorating the pages with stickers and craft paper and then drawing and coloring in it. But there are glue-in sheets for checklists, goals, notes, photo frames and more so the possibilities are endless. The decorative tape works well and looks nice, the scissors work smoothly and leave a cute design, and the pens and markers are good quality. It includes everything a tween-to-teen girl would want or need to get started on keeping a diary/scrapbook/some combo of both. There's a beautiful double-spiral bound notebook with 70 heavy-duty pages. There are 3 gel pens (that write in the color they are made in), a pencil, 6 markers, 2 glue sticks, zig-zag scissors 2 rolls of tape, magnets, small paper frames to use in the notebook, 4 magnetic bookmarks, flat stickers, puffy stickers and best of all, a pen with a feather on the end. ALL the items are well made and packaged to show them off. Everything comes enclosed in a beautiful box which is highly giftable.
