  • Great addition to counter top appliances
Color: Red
I love this four serving George Foreman grill. I had previously purchased the two serving George Foreman, though I really liked the grill on my counter, the plates did not remove for easy cleaning and that discouraged me from using it. On this model, the plates lift out and can be cleaned easily in the sink. I also think that the four serving size is more realistic for two persons. I'm a little surprised there's no temperature control, I understand that other models do have some control of that, but since I don't really cook too much, it's kind of nice to just take what I'm given. I have cooked hamburgers, steaks, grilled cheese sandwiches, on it. I also have used it to heat my naan bread, and have cooked hot dogs in it. Wonderful addition to my cooking appliances and can be easily stored between users. ... show more

  • Awesome grill.
Color: Black
I love the ease with which it cleans, as I just take the plates off and let them soak in some hot, soapy water for an hour or so. Then, the plates clean off so easily. No sticking whatsoever. I've primarily used this for burgers so far, but it makes great ones, as it really fries more than grills, and I love fried burgers. I couldn't care less about the "reduced fat" claims. I just want a burger that turns out perfectly, and this machine does it with ease. I make 1/3 pound burgers with my own press, and I've found that this is the perfect size for this grill. Juicy and tender. I'll try a steak one day, but I don't really know how well one would turn out, as I think it might press it too much. The burgers aren't a problem with this, but I think it might make a steak too tough. Still, I'll give it a try with a moderately priced one. Maybe a NY Strip. I would definitely recommend this grill for anyone that loves burgers and wants an easy way to make them, with an easy cleanup. ... show more

  • Basic Panini maker/countertop grill , 2 hamburger size, not 4
Color: Black
1. Despite name, this is just large enough for 3 standard size hamburgers, or 2 grilled-cheese sandwicthes at most. not 4 2. You have no temperature control - in fact not even an on/off switch. You plug it in (and the cable is pretty short) it heats up till is lights up the 2nd light (meaning "ready" - but what temp it is, god knows), to turn off, you must unplug it 3. It works well to prepare both Grilled-cheese sandwiches and hamburgers - they come out well, but it is up to you to guess when they are ready. 4. The signature feature of Foreman grills is the sloped lower plate, to have fat drip off. To catch this drip-off you are given a small plastic tray - but it has nothing to keep it in place, and you have to be VERY careful when putting items on/off because the unit is easily moved, resulting it in just dripping on your counter. this will happen to almost everyone, almost every use. 5. The actual plates you cook on come out easily, and can be cleaned relatively easily. However the grill itself accumulates dirt and grease, and is much harder to clean. 6. This unit is NOT designed to be stored vertically. It will not stay on its side if you try. ... show more

  • We've had one in the family since they came out...
Color: Black
We have had a George Foreman in the kitchen since my grandmother bought one of the very first. I believe it was in the mid seventies. And it's still around here somewhere! We upgraded over the years as they increased the cook space capacity and design. They're just too handy and easy to cook on to NOT have one. Not to mention all of the excess grease (that is in most meats) is rendered off, and a preheated George will cook a two inch steak (medium rare) in less than ten minutes! It sears the outside of the meat, trapping the juices inside (YUMMY!) Unfortunately, the newer ones aren't as durable as the older models. Or rather the teflon coating starts to degrade faster than the heavier grates of those older ones. BUT, I've never had a George malfunction, it's always the grates that go first, the teflon chipping away ruins the "non stick". The last one we purchased was a large four-burger size with removable grates. It lasted about two years. We decided to go with this small two-burger grill this time. When I opened it, at first, I thought it was too small, but the looks are deceiving, there is plenty of grilling surface, it's just that the grills do not have molded handles protruding out the sides , ergo, the smaller appearance, but it accommodates two large chicken breasts, or, two large burgers, or two large steaks... you get my meaning. WORTH MENTIONING: the grills in this newer model can be REPLACED. so when the coating starts chipping, just order a new pair.. Cool.. That's why I gave this small George five stars; excellent tasting meals in just a few minutes. Everyone with a busy life needs one of these! ... By the way, the first George Foreman Grill was only big enough to cook ONE burger at a time and you couldn't remove the grills at all. Oh, and one more thing: never drop a grill that is still hot into water! That's what causes the teflon to start cracking and eventually start coming off. ... show more

  • Love this grill
Color: Platinum
We wore out the Teflon coating on our original GF grill so we were happy to buy the same reliable model. It’s a great price and it’s working perfectly. We use it for everything: chicken, hamburgers and grilled cheese.
