Good value for the price. Works as it should, super easy to install too. I have had no issues with leaks so fat and I've owned it for about 2.5 months. Only time I have ever noticed that it leaks is when it has gone through the car wash (assuming its from the intense water pressure coming in directly from the sides). Other than that its a good cover if you are looking to go a more affordable route ... show more

Super easy install. I’ve never put on a bed cover, but I had it installed and locked down in less than 20 minutes by myself. Has held up well on the highway even when I’m going a bit over the speed limit (allegedly 95mph) or passing an 18 wheeler. I’m not seeing it leaking from the top, but the way the Ram 1500 is built, I still get water in the bed due to huge gaps in the tailgate sides. So if you’re seeing water in your bed and you thought this would be a good 100% waterproof solution, then you are wrong. There are still gaps in other parts of your bed that will allow water in. All in all I would recommend this cover if you are looking for an affordable solution. ... show more

This is my second Gator soft trifold and I must say that I couldn't be more pleased. I fitted my last ETX to a Chevy Colorado and it lasted for over 3 years with no signs of wear and operated flawlessly the entire time. I just installed one on my new Ram 1500 and expect to get the same service from it. Installation is an absolute breeze--just sit the cover in place, line it up, tighten the clamps and go. The entire operation took me less than 10 minutes. It is not waterproof (although there is very little leakage) and-being a soft cover-it won't be theft-proof, but it did everything I asked of it.     • Tyger vs Gator......This one actually fits the 2019 Ram 1500 new body - 5' 7" box
I ordered the Tyger one that said it would fit the Ram new body and the fit was close, but not right. I returned it and purchased the Gator one. Overall it fits great and looks good. Drove in rain yesterday with no issues. Features that i would say are better with this one is 1. Has foam seals attached all the way around, Tyger came with only a partial stick on one. The latches in both seem cheaply made, but this one in my opinion has better functionality. The Tyger did have an extra "safety clamp" on each side as well. The Tyger also came with a slip on mesh cover when not in use. One area of question/concern.....There is a fixed foam pad located in 2 spots on each side which are thicker than the foam for the rail seal. With them being thicker it does push up on the cover and creates a small gap between the rail & cover.....can see daylight. Not sure if this will leak water, if so i will most likely trim the foam to match the rest. Overall i would recommend this one as it actually fits the 2019 Ram new body and seems to be well made for the price. Time will tell on the long term quality.....
