Does its job. On exceptionally large clothes of garlic? I like to cut them into pea-size chunks. Not that the thing can't handle it. It just helps get them to smaller pieces for when I'm cooking. Bottle opener on the side is a nice touch. Haven't used it cuz I have a nice bottle opener on the wall but it could help if needed. ... show more

Doesn't work very well. Crushes garlic flat, doesn't go through the holes that it would. It's inconvenient to clean. I don't recommend. Just use your knife. The Garlic peeler is alright, seems to work most of the time.

The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately this doesn’t work on raw garlic that isn’t smashed. The metal grid is not sharp enough to crush raw garlic. Would need to be much sharper or you’d have to hit it with a mallet. Can’t recommend. Might work to mash up roasted garlic so gave it one stars.
