    • blew up my 212 predator
i bought this carb to replace the carb on my 212cc hemi as it was having issues. the motor was basically brand new with only 40 minutes on the motor. i put this carb on the day i got it and i rode around for 10 MINUTES with it on and it blew my motor up!!! i have not removed the in motor govenor or oil sensor. the motor had fresh motor oil in it. there is no reason why my motor should’ve blown up. will never buy this carb again!! ... show more

Won't start at all.. they should come pre set to a predator 212, 224, I guess I'll have to tare it apart

I'd stay away. Unable to adjust mixture, only thing that is adjustable is the throttle. Took the carburetor apart to see what the deal was. The bike wont stay running and the adjustment screw doesn't do anything. Come to find out I think this is a knock off Mikuni, the threads where the jets screw into was jacked up, one of the jets wouldn't seat properly (the one for the air/fuel mixture). One of the gaskets was torn on the inside, threads them selves were not cleaned so chances of aluminum to break off and clog the small jet ports, or possible cause engine failure if the shavings get by. ... show more

Looks good, but nothing but problems with it. Constantly leaking from the over flow, tried adjusting the float still pisses gas from the over flow and the intake. Adjusted the float and check the fuel valve plunger for possible debris, still leaked, the only way it it doesnt leak is if I adjust the float to the point where it starves the motor of fuel. ... show more

Gas flow issues right out of the box. There is a clog that prevents gas from flowing. Seems like a manufacturing defects, I know this thing kind of happen from time to time with mass production. But sucks that I can't use it.
