I looked far and wide for the perfect size patio table to hold my Weber Q1200 grill and fit into a very specific area of rock landscaping on my patio. Most tables were too large or too tall. This thing is perfect, I left off the tall part on the very back because it would have gotten in the way when I opened my grill, but you can't really tell that there should be something there. It's super study, more than I was expecting which was a nice surprise. It looks great too. I hope it lasts out on my patio without much protection from the weather. I've had it for 2 months and it still looks new, I live in San Diego so it sees lots of sun but very little rain. NOTE: The Furinno Potting Bench (FG17478) can't be configured this way without some rather involved wordworking (described below). The potting bench was too deep for the spot we had in mind. At 31" high, we found the bench top to be too low. We understood both points at the time we placed the order. I cut off the rearmost board (and underlying frame) of the bench top and bottom shelf. I cut off the front legs just below the bottom shelf. I directly attached the back of the bench top and bottom shelf to the wall (using lengths of 2x2). I used a portion the rear legs to support the front of the bench top (and bottom shelf) at the standard counter height of 36". I joined the boards (and frame) cut from the bench top and bottom shelf to create an additional shelf (using lengths of 2x2). I replaced the brass bolts with (longer) brass screws and finish washers. I used the boards normally used to support the top shelf above the bench top to join the top shelf (which is now on the bottom) and the newly created shelf. I directly mounted this top shelf assembly to the wall. I mounted a Metro Smartwall Metroseal 18" x 36" Wire Grid (WG1836K3) to the wall between the bench top and the top shelf assembly. And added hooks to hang gardening tools. We were thrilled with the Furinno Potting Bench (FG17478). It's a tremendous value. And we're even more happy with our custom potting bench. ... show more

    • Better wood than most.
After reading so many reviews, I opted for the better wood and aligned parts over features. The price was good and we're happy with the final product. It was quick and easy to assemble. I finished it with a polyurethane spray to protect the wood. It is a bit small for our needs but at the price, I might just get a second one. Overall, if you can get one for less than $100 as we did, I'd say go for it and you won't be disappointed. ... show more

This was extremely easy to assemble. It seems very sturdy with the exception of the higher shelf. It isn’t tight so it can actually move. I love the quality of the wood. This was definitely worth the money. As you can see from the pic, I used it for a lemonade bar.

I went out on a limb to order this potting bench that 1) it would be hard to assemble and that 2) it would be tacky. It was very easy to assemble. It looks wonderful. My fellow owners are thrilled to have a potting bench. Today I transplanted 48 plants. Yeah!

I was a little hesitant to buy it with a couple questionable reviews, but I’m glad I did! It came ridiculously fast despite the sometimes slower (and completely understandable) mail conditions right now. It was packed nicely with foam, but not difficult to unwrap. It was definitely a one person quick build, I had this together in about 10 minutes and it is exactly what I was looking for. Great quality, sturdy, looks nice, and fits my need. I got this potting bench on a whim because I got tired of crouching on the ground. I have a small space, maybe some would even consider it tiny. This potting bench adds so much versatility to my garden space. I can use it to pot seedlings up, collect seeds, as a plant stand, for storage, and to rest my seedlings on when I am hardening them off.
