  • Deceptive product has no branding or online support site. Instructions are just as mysterious.
Model: AX-80
The product itself is well made and works well - except the UI on the digital display. The product said made in 2022. The firmware on the UI says last updated 2019. So, the problem is, how do I update the firmware with no website support? Try searching AX-80 Audio Mixer and see if you find any trace of product support. Ok, so why is it a problem? It makes the thumb drive unusable. It says "Device not found" while the formatted thumb drive is inserted. Anyone else having this trouble? Please help. I was expecting to find a website with support documentation and firmware/flash driver downloads. Does the unit only accept thumb drives having up to a maximum [abc] storage size? ... show more

  • Great quality
Opened this up and it is comparable to other brands that are way more expensive. Easy to use and setup. Instructions are simple but easy to understand. Has everything u need and more in a compact mixer.

  • Useless
Model: AX-80
My wife ordered this for me. It comes with pretty useless instructions with NO company name on the instructions. No website. No FAQs. No troubleshooting. Worthless. Sending it back.

  • Sounds great, but it has a few key things to consider.
Model: AX-60
First off this mixer is a step above some name brand mixers that are around the same price range. The build quality isn't cheap feeling what-so-ever... but the quality control might need some improvement. The sound quality is surprisingly very clean for a mixer in this price range. The pres sound clean, it outputs clean, and the signal to noise ratio seems to be very good... or good enough for most cases. It boasts the features of having Bluetooth connection capability, which I tested and it worked quite well. Paired with my PC/Phone fairly simple. The delay between the audio and the BT was very minimal, and had virtually no delay. The USB was a whole other story, while it was boasting such features, I am begining to believe this version (6 channel) does not have the capability, the included chipset to read and manage such, OR simply needs a firmware update? I had no luck getting anything to play through a variety of disks with mp3's. Tried different sizes, 4GB up to 32 etc... NTFS, exFAT, FAT32... Nothing. If they require a certain folder? Does it need a firmware update? Is it missing the internals to read USB (despite having the USB port)? The manual has no information, and there is no website to be found... not yet anyways. I am inclined to opening up the mixer to see what kind of electronics it has, what controller chip it's using, and other modules etc to see if there is a common firmware that could be used? Quite the adventure I'm not looking forward to going through. The mixer is a 6 channel mixer, and all 6 are basically mono channels. This is great for microphones and perhaps maybe a drum kit, dry mixing. The mixer has 48V power of course, with XLR ins and a separate LINE in for each channel. Each channel also has a 3 band knob EQ, AUX, FX, and PAN knobs, with a fader on the bottom that can toggle PFL (switch). If you are inputting a stereo signal, like a synthesizer etc, then you might need to use 2 channels for stereo... Also don't forget to pan the pans to the L and R position accordingly. You might have to mess with the fader dB levels to get things to be even. This is the drawback for a stereo input channel as this mixer has all mono, and the Main Out LR are also separated... Some mixers have these paired into one fader.... This one no. But this one would be good for other applications that require mono mixing, but you can get away with stereo obviously. A few quirky cons I have experienced when receiving this mixer is there was a small screw floating around in it's box... Can't explain that, nor do I see anywhere a small screw this size could have came from on this mixer. No big deal... Another was the 4 pads on the bottom, the case or something didn't seem to be level on a flat surface... The mixer was able to rock back and forth like a table who's legs needed to be re-levelled. I put a little dab of mounting putty under one of the legs that was rocking, and it fixed it... No big deal. Overall this mixer is decent... but for the price? For the competitive features amongst it's price point value? Ehhh maybe. Maybe not. I am originally giving this 3 stars, knocking off 2 for a few key reasons combined. The USB doesn't seem to work, and there is no clear instruction on the required USB device to use. There is no online support, nothing mentioned with a website, and ultimately no firmware... If everything was working out of the box, then there wouldn't be as much of that necessity to update. I want to give this 5 stars, and it has that potential, but please address these issues. I will happily update my review if they addressed these concerns. ... show more
