I literally look forward to going to bed at night after receiving this mattress. I have an expensive beautyrest black mattress as well and this one is just as comfortable if not more comfortable. It's the perfect mix of soft and firm if that makes sense. Your body just eases into it, rather than sinking in so you feel the support your body needs but with the right amount of comfortness the memory foam provides. I don't think I would like a $2,000 mattress any more than this one. First, as others have noted. it is HEAVY. Unless you are pretty burly, two people will be needed to get it onto a bed. Any tiny bit of odor was gone in a day or two. I actually think the protector I used was responsible for most of the odor I noted. While everyone has a different opinion about firmness, I would rate this as medium firm or perhaps closer to medium than to firm. I would not rate this as a true pillow top, but that is fine with me as it should be a bit cooler in the summer. In any case, having a fluffy top on top of a rock has never made much sense to me. The best part of this mattress in my opinion is the firmness towards the edge. I inched over towards the edge while laying down, and I found that the edge was neither harder than the rest (which I often find and hate) nor did it create a tendency to have me slide off onto the floor. This makes the whole bed usable. I was afraid that the manufacturers hype would not actually be true, but here I think it is. Not sure how they did it, but it seems to work very well. I also tried sitting on the edge, which worked OK, but I didn't buy a mattress to sit on in any case. After only a week of use I can't comment on how it will hold up over time, but it certainly looks to be well made. I much prefer this design with springs as well as foam as it makes it much easier to move around. An all foam mattress does not spring back fast enough to help me roll over, making it more work to move about. My only possible negative comment is that the springs are pretty much at the bottom of the mattress such that I expect that this mattress would not work well if it were only supported by slats rather than a box spring or other flat surface. If I was using slats I would put a sheet of plywood under the mattress and on top of the slats. So, in conclusion, I will not write some over-the-top comments about this being the best mattress ever made, rather I conclude that it is apparently well made, very comfortable for me, and has just the right amount of support all the way to the edge. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So dh and I had a mattress from big online retailer “way” fare and we had it for 7 years. It started to get formed to our bodies and husband felt like he was sunk in on his end and both our backs hurt. So after looking around, we decided on this one for the value and overall positive reviews. Our back pain is gone and bed is comfy. The only thing I wish they would fix is the firmness around the edges. Around the edges it collapses and just doesnt fully form which Im not a huge fan of. But we are both sleeping better and back pain is gone so we will keep it. ... show more

This bed is providing me the best night sleeps I've had, maybe ever, let me explain. Getting a solid night sleep without waking up with discomfort in your body or back is paramount to starting your day right. It's been allows you to sink into it yet providing great support all night long with absolutely no body pain or stiffness in the morning. Waking up in the morning and feeling like you need to take Ibuprofen to make your back and body pain go away is a terrible way to start your day. This is an incredible mattress for a very reasonable price. I’ve bought a second one for my mom! Really comfortable. Let it sit for at least 1-2 days. Even when you think it’s fluffed up it fluffs even more. I did put a foam/pillow top topper on it because I love the extra plushness.

Pros-- quiet, was easy to set up, no odor. Cons: Was not as expected as far as firmness wise Supposed to be a medium firm, but it's closer to firm. My hips and shoulder get really sore at night from sleeping on my side. I have waited about 90 days to give it a good fair chance. But it's just really not that comfortable. And, the edges are NOT firm and sinks down. It is also supposed to help with cooling, but I don't think it remains cool at all. ... show more
