I used these on my motorcycle carrier, they work well but my Tahoe required 6 ohm load resistors. Be aware that wires emerge from lights rear surface so they require a 5/8 hole in the mounting surface for wire routing.

The media could not be loaded. I like the ease of installation. But be careful with pressure because they can break where screws go through to mount. The brightness is very nice. Can be seen day or night. Good value for the price! I do wish there was metal where the screws went to mount to trailer. This would prevent others from breaking apart (I'm assuming it because I was trying to be aware of mine when doing it). If I was to replace my lights again on this or another trailer. Id definitely get these! I like the slim design & brightness. I do wish the leads were about 4"-6" longer! This would be great for routing into the steel channels. Make sure you weather coat the wire's when hooking up. This will go a long way from shorts & ground. ... show more

Received the lights today. The firest thing I did is to what wire is ground , brake/turn and light. As there wasn't a wire diagram with the light. Once you do that it was easy to install to my rack. If your vehicle has a trailer plug then you can buy a trailer plug wire kit.

The LEDs were very skinny which then will fit in a small space. Very handy! The wiring colors made no sense so I had to test them to make sure they lit it up properly. I did NOT like the over 1/2" protrusion that contained the wires; I eventually had to utilize standoffs to mount it, as there was no way I was going to make a larger than 1/2" hole in angle iron! This is the only real complaint I have about this item-otherwise very happy w/purchase! ... show more
