    • Triggers are soldered to wire connectors
The triggers in this joystick for some reason where soldered together and soldered to the connection wires, so there is no way to change the wires coming from the trigger without completely replacing both of the triggers. This wouldn't nearly be such a big deal if the wires weren't so short. Typically when you buy button triggers they use industry standard connectors so that the wiring can be replaced. Not only is soldering the wires to the trigger substandard, it also actually cost more money than actually just using a standard connector. The device us functional without replacing the triggers if you have wiring skills but it will look like crap. This arcade flight joystick is a huge disappointment but it is actually the only arcade flight joystick on the market. It does require some pretty advanced skills to wire it to a gaming board, so don't expect that you will be able to just grab some longer trigger wires and map the triggers to get it working. You will definitely have to strip the wires coming from the joystick and tap them to longer wires that are stripped on one end to connect to the gaming board or completely replace the triggers altogether in order to get it to work. ... show more
